Hasbro's been pleased with every movie or they wouldn't have turned out the exact way that they did. So don't buy the hype. The only thing any success here will bring you is more Michael Bay. The TF aisles didn't need this shitty universe before, and they don't need it in the future.

If you want something better, something TransFormers beyond just teases for your $10, make sure you destroy this imitation once and for all. They won't deny reality forever - eventually it hits them in the face. See Generations.

Do you know that Bay isn't directing this movie?

Nice change from the beginning of the year when they scrapped all future Transformers movies plans

Hardcore Transformers fan from 1984 here. I AM NOT PLEASED with what I see! A movie devoted to 1 fucking character. And a stupid minibot to boot. A character that is artificially popular because they've been ramming him down the public's throats for the past 11 years.

Play a shitty song on the radio or MTV long enough & you'll have stupid mindless drones going out & buying that album. That's how advertising works. Bumblebee isn't actually popular. Start shoving some other character down our throats & everybody will forget about Bumblebee in no time.

But I do love that scene where the Con drops him off a cliff. Roll the credits right after that scene & it'll be my favorite movie of all time.

    My interest remains un-piqued, Hasbro.

Just because a few people here like you claim he's unpopular even if 5,000 people claim this there's millions of people on this planet so unless you literally surveyed every single person you don't know even if you narrow it down to transformers fans.

I too am a hardcore fan since 1984, actually from Marvel comics which predate the TV show.

Whether this movie is good or bad is hard to say until people see it HOWEVER the large scale movies (multiple bots, large battles etc) have just gotten less focused each time.

A smaller scale fare is what is needed right now.

    I shouldn’t, but...

    This just sounds... needlessly clunky.

I know it’s jargon and puff, but... yuck.

I think they should try cutting out the Humans, at last. ^.^

I think 5 or fewer Autobots and Decepticons ( 10 transformers or less ) is perfect of course it doesn't matter if there's a bad director like Bay.

Not cut them out but do what they've always done; humans help the Autobots not be the main hero even if Optimus fights the last battle. Have them be like the military has been in these movies or in the tv series .

I know it’s unlikely, but I’d gladly take Rom or even live with the Visionaries and/or Micronauts if it meant there’d be films that are not set on Earth, at the very least.

Much as I’d prefer big space operatic battles, I’ll settle for Transformers just being a little bit more untethered from the real world.

So like G1, Armada, half of Cybertron and RID ( 2015)? A couple humans having to keep the Autobots secret? Unless it's animated you're right they won't do a space only movie or set on Cybertron but that would be cool too. I'd love to see a movie or movies based on the Lost Light comics .

“Our teams are supporting it with digital games as well. And Backflip [Studios] is offering new elements within its Earth Wars mobile game.”

I wonder if this means we’ll get more Transformers Game news soon...

Also, I’m surprised he didn’t mention Kabam’s Forged to Fight. Makes me wonder if the video talking about the company possibly shutting down the servers (thereby the game) is true...

Nope, no keeping anybody hidden, hence pairing the Transformers with in house super heroes who can reliably hold their own.

While the Micronauts and Visionaries don’t do much for me, Rom is basically the Guyver in Space and Stardrive is Venom, and I can really get with that.

Hell, Rom and the Solstar Knights could be Powermasters and Weaponizers, and I’d dig it as long as it got us off of Earth.

Great idea. That way, space Transformers movie could work in live action. Since doing movie of Cybertron with only Transformers characters in it is a risky move (it won't have much appeal for GA in my opinion).

As transformer movie fan I will see this movie judge for myself regardless what strangers think of it when it’s release

See if your response remains same if you don’t like movie new director is good and bad thing it’s not always 100 percent good what’s good example Batman and robin movie, Batman forever

I am fan of transformers cartoons and comics but it don’t mean I like every episode of cartoon series

Maybe but important opinion really matters to all movies is yours no one else what you think about movie is what you want to do in life same with people who are sheep follows who need critics answers instead judging for them self if they like movie or not
