I skipped the Hasbro for the Henkei and this Hasbro Version looks awesome.

I'll buy that too, then I can have one of them in alt mode, A-10s are my favorite airplane. Wish I had grabbed the white Hasbro release, would make a great Hothouse.

Perceptor and the Insecticons are just about awesome at $34.99. Kudos to Hasbro and TRU for keeping the G1 series alive. Even if they are toys that Takara already released.

These are all a pass from me. Already got Henkei Powerglide. Hardhead just doesn't do it for me (even if he had a new head)..... the only thing that would have got me to buy it is if they made him a Headmaster. Re-issues I already have. Only vintage style packaging (aka oncore) gets me to re-buy re-issues.  

Edit* Skywarp, Fallen, Soundwave are awsome. So bought.

MP Skywarp will be a pain in the ass to get, just like Starscream was.

 

I've passed on the Powerglide mold until now. The original version was too big, had bad colors, and just didn't look right to me. The Henkei version was better, but too expensive for something I wasn't that into. The new one has me sold, though. I am definitely getting this guy.

I'll get the Insecticons, too. I've been wanting them for awhile. Perceptor... not so sure.

The other two Ultra repaints are both easy passes. I have the original versions of both and neither of this are special enough for me to spend money on. Especially Skyfall - the yellowy-green face really ruins an otherwise nice redeco.

I'm sorry, but when I first saw that Hardhead it just screamed to me Classics RID Mega-Octane. Since I've got some free silver insignias from Reprolabels, I might just pick it up...

 

:sigh: I completely have buyer's remorse now with my Henkei Powerglide. Considering I barely like the mold to begin with, $50 was a lot to pay now that there is a Hasbro repaint in even MORE accurate G1 colors.   I never thought a Henkei release would be outdone by Hasbro. I'm genuinely shocked. That said, I'm sticking with my overpriced red arms though, since there's no way I'm buying this guy AGAIN.

As for the Powerglide repaint, now I have zero regrets canceling my bigbad order of the Henkai Powerglide, bought first release of Uni-Powerglide (on sale) only to repaint him into a Cobra Rattler.

Still poundering if I should buy the guy still.

 

- Powerglide - Nice, but I like the original colour scheme and this isn't good enough to justify buying the character/mold again. Pass.
- Hardhead - Maybe, will have to see how money is holding up by then.
- Skyjackfall - Ugh, that looks terrible. Definite pass.
- Perceptor and Insecticons - Already have them, but neat choices. $35 is a little steep though. Pass.
- MP Skywarp - Pass, I have the Takara version. Looking forward to (hopefully) a Hasbro MP Grimlock, though.
- Burning Fallen - Ugh, no. I'll stick to the original release.
- Blowpipe vs Sideways - Probable pass. I already have two copies of the Dropkick mold.
- Megatron and Soundwave - Pass. I already have two copies of the Voyager Megatron mold and I already have RotF Soundwave.

 

I will without a doubt get that powerglide, I am glad I passed on the Henlei because this one is much more accurate to the orginal powerglide. I like the hardhead too, just wish he had a new head.

HASBLOW SUCKS! I already have Henkei Powerglide and MP Skywarp and while I can skip Powerglide I'm going to be suckered into MP Skywarp. The purple used on the original toy is way better than the one on the Japanese MP and it looks like that's the shade Hasbro is using.  (
