Grrrrrrrrrr....... Alright.... Now I'm getting a little pissed....

 

I'm not too fussed about this one. At this point that gun megatron has been used what now: 5 times? Seems like an odd choice seeing as how I don't see anyone really fiening for one.

 

Seriously, hardly a real "exclusive"...

Cyclonus79, I've been able to get any of the MP exclusive accessories and coins on eBay really cheap. They seem to be plentiful - I wouldn't worry too much about obtaining one.

 

I'm going to start waiting HA out from now on, it gives me more time to buy other things if I wait for that release, and not that it matters a whole lot, I'll get a bonus accessory to boot. And, If one doesn't come...the main release will still be available at BBTS. So, starting with Inferno, I'll be waiting a couple extra months. Maybe they'll do a Hot Rod and Ratchet too, I still have to get those.

 

It's really weird that Hasbro Asia is first doing the initial release and then a second reissue just a few months after (with an extra bonus). It's like they want to start upsetting people by doing these kind of releases so soon after the first one.

I literally own only two MP figures and they both came with the same Megatron gun. Not that exciting in my opinion.

 

Maybe this one won't be prone to falling apart like some of the earlier versions.

 

Maybe they'll do a weird alternative colour like the one that came with Soundblaster.

There will be hundreds of these things plus Ironhide's Drill and Primal's Mace on ebay come the time anyway.

That's a neat idea for a re-release, I guess.

 

So every Decepticon MP goes on Oprah and it's like:

"YOU get a Megatron, and YOU get a Megatron, and YOU get a-"

 

Don't really need the Megatron gun but I might consider getting that release if the QC is improved since the first release. I was afraid the new Megatron accessory would take the place of the mini-Shockwave gun but thankfully that doesn't appear to be the case.

I still wish Takara might consider a Shackwave repaint release someday.

 

I'll be pissed when they release a recolour of shockwave in toon colours. I know the day is coming.

 

The article speculates that it'll be the same one that came with MP Optimus. I'm assuming they mean MP-01 since I don't know of an MP-10 release that comes with it. I would think it's actually the version that came with Soundwave: the one with the remolded and better articulated stock.

How many MPs have come with a Megs gun? I only know of MP-01 and his variants (some of which came with weird clear colored guns) and Soundwave/Soundblaster.

Besides the actual MP figure, this list also shows some of the MP Megatron gun accessories that have been released in the MP line. I didn't know the recent MP Skywarp Asia release also included the Megatron gun too. All I knew of was MP-1 Prime (and repaints) and Soundwave (and repaints but the list does not include the Year of the Goat version) and that the seeker molds included clips that can hold said Megatron gun.

 

Shockwave has his alt mode, a gun arm, a smaller version of himself...and now Megatron?

C'mon man, now you're just being selfish.

 

Oh come on, a Shockwave reissue so soon yet no MP-11SW reissue despite its current $500 aftermarket price and obvious demand?

 

Meh; doesn't seem that exciting.
Although if this turns out to be a new Megatron die cast thingie I might try to hunt the gun down. As is though my Laserwave is fine and complete feeling.
