Did they not already do this? Was the "Transformers" movie series unauthorized all along?

Michael is too busy making sure TLK has the best FX right now, so adding scenes to the '07 movie is out of the question -- I can see them including the IMAX scenes from TF '07 though, sadly, they were pretty boring.
The re-release of the movie toys, maybe even updated ones is more like it.

I noticed that too. Makes me think that maybe Hasbro has something planned for toys, not that the movie will get a rerelease. Would be Paramount applying (or re-applying) for it if that were the case.

 

Not keeping my hopes up, but if they ever go back and edit RotF so that all the cringeworthy parts were ripped out and replaced with more, noncringeworthy robot scenes, I would find that movie a lot more tolerable.

 

Since when has it been confirmed Galvatron is not in the film? The Megatron design could just be from Galvatron getting upgraded into Megatron's Knight form, or Galvatron could be in space hunting Prime or have a CGI alt mode. Even though the marketing team is teasing us with images I'm sure they don't want to spoil certain things. I have no doubt the Megatron reveal was done for speculation as well as hype.

So can we finally own a copy of the character models on a special edition home disc? Or art book of the movie character designs? Geesh.

EDIT: Could this also mean more Constructicon scenes in TF2 Blu Ray!??

 

I want that. My dvds of the first 2 movies broke so I want some new ones. If this turns out to be the case, looks like i'll be waiting for a release later on down the road.

I don't know, these internet fans might revolt and call them Bayformers or something. I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up putting something stupid like flames or something on Optimus Prime.

 

This is probably just them renewing the trademark or planning for yet another box set featuring the first four movies alongside number five.

 

I don't know, flames might be kind of cool. I just hope they don't do anything stupid, like giving Optimus a mouth or nonchalantly killing off iconic G1 characters for cheap shock value.

i hope with this trademark application, it also encompasses TV shows. hopefully that's one of Hasbro's plans.

Does this mean we'll actually get good Transformers live action movies that focus more on the robots involved and has no Michael Bay, terrible acting, cliche ridiculously hot chicks which serve no purpose except being hot and robots that don't look like a bunch of spare parts scrapped together?
