Just PR I think, but then again what else do they have that'd be worth buying?
Then offers itself to Disney in the final buyout, now Disney owns everything.

Now I’m wondering if the deal included Power Rangers related properties like Beetleborgs and VR Troopers.

How do you know Bob Iger isn't Galvatron in disguise? I don't know about you, but I've never seen them together. Coincidence?

When you sign up, that's you agreeing to follow the rules. If you don't like the rules you shouldn't have signed up.

And the real reason Hasbro got Power Rangers is so Disney won't want to buy them then.

    No, they don't.
    World Event Productions owns Voltron.
DreamWorks is simply partnered with them and Netflix to make Legendary Defender.

Hasbro is working on a new Micronauts animated series due out next year. It, MASK and Visionaries were supposed to be part of Hasbro's cinematic universe. Literally nothing is being done with these properties. They've all been entirely forgotten. GoBots does seem to have been burried, but what are they going to do? They don't own the cartoon and to make new stuff with it they'd just be competing with Transformers.

Hasbro's LA studio is the head on the Power Rangers line. Transformers stays in Pawtucket and Japan, AFAIK. On the show front, I imagine they'll hire Saban's creative staff at least until they've got a footing with the brand.

Bandai of America is a subsidiary of Bandai Namco Entertainment. You might be getting them confused with Bluefin Distribution, who handle the North American releases of Bandai Japan's collector lines under the Tamashii Nations banner. They're not part of the company. BoA was made for mass market retail, not speciality goods like that.

SRW is a Bandai Namco property. Bandai Namco has no interest in trying to make that a thing in the west and yet you expect Hasbro to? Uhhh... Just be happy the games now getting competent English translations for South East Asia that you can easily import.

I'm pretty sure Disney still owns RiD/Car Robots. Saban Brands didn't buy the entire Saban Entertainment library back from Disney when they went after Power Rangers in 2010. If Saban had it, I'm sure it would've been aired on The Hub. They bought that live action TMNT show from Saban's distributor and no one likes that thing.

    From the press release:

Sounds like they're buying everything, but honestly, there's little of value there outside of Power Rangers. Maybe if the team at Boulder Media wants to revive Mystic Knights as an Irish joke.

Saban relinquished the rights to Digimon back to Toei after Fusion flopped.

Huh, considering their themes, maybe that won't be a bad idea.

Hmm, maybe Hasbro DO have plans for the Masked Rider name, I sure hope we start getting consistent good KR adaptations.
