I wish we could've gotten the Predacons as CW scale. Some of them would've been perfect remold/retool fuel!

Definitally. Between them and the terrorcons, a Monstructor could have easily been pulled off with retooling.

Same here, HasbRo wanted a Titan for POTP. I think Prediking was a good choice. He's a G1 character and a combiner with a reputation for being big. The Dinobots may seem more logical from a story point of view for for sales and marketing you want your more well known characters in more affordable price points.

Again, I just wish Hasbro had engineered the waist to not be a hollow 3 panel cavern, of which two panels are foldable. That's a lot of weight on a very small piece. It's not Power Rangers movie Megazord unstable...but it is a little worrisome.

Same. Though given what Hasbro's pulled off in the past those Dinobots and Terrorcons have a tone of potential too.

I think it's less that and more that they'd had to have given up too much in terms of "Predakingness" to be a standard PotP/CW release. I'm sure they had a few ideas buzzing around before settling on this one.

    Hasblow?

That’s as early noughties as Chel$ki

I don’t see anything wrong with what they made, if they had made it bulkier people would be moaning that it was ‘too fat’ - and seriously if spikes on the knuckles bother you that much, stick some on.

Oh, I hope you're happy @jame5y, @barry has just been hospitalized. The paramedics had to remove a dirt encrusted needle from in between his toes and give him a tetanus shot up his jacksey.
    Hopefully he will recover....

The engineering is amazing on this figure. Sure it has its flaws, but IMHO it is a step in right direction.

We will have a good rendition of predaking someday. Hasbro won't be involved

I’m glad they’re including other staff members and especially engineers. John is great but it also keeps it real for me to meet the other people behind Transformers. These are the people who go to work each day to make our favorite toys. Yay Lindsey!

Yep. It's fun to see the team beyond just "the name" we all recognize.

But you just proved the Dinobots make more sense as a Titan:
    A) dinos are huge creatures
    B) they consistently sell out while Jazz, Darkwing, & Rippersnapper shelfwarm
    C) if you want a Titan toy to sell, going Dino makes more sense than random jungle animals.

But this is Hasbro underestimating Dinobot popularity and maybe inaccurately assuming Predaking is cooler than a giant Grimlock & crew?
