    I've been wracking my brain but, can't for the life of my think of anything that got higher than a level 4. In fact, aren't MP Prime/Skywarp/Starscream level 4s as well?

    I'm gonna feel really lame when you guys post a million of them hahaha.

    Wasn't 5 just recently introduced? I'd have to go look at some old boxes (I really don't pay attention), but I do remember somebody remarking that level 5 was new recently.

    The use of Level 5 has just began. It's something that is just now showing on boxes.

    I'd vote for some of the Alternators/Binaltech. They should have started the occasional level 5 for some of those. Grimmy, I'm looking at you.

    Yeah, level 5 has only been recently introduced with the new stuff post ROTF. The original ROTF leader Prime box only goes up to 4 yet the repaint of him lists him as a 5.

    I tend to think that if level 5 were here in the past MP Starscream and Skywarp would be 5s, along with a good portion of the Alternators.

    Why not just make four harder and call this a four?

    ...These go to five.

    Yeah, that's because it's a recent decision to have the difficulty numbers actually mean something, as opposed to simply redundantly meaning the size class.

    A scale with more gradations is more useful. :p

    I know that, I was just posting to the OP that this is NEW so the base of comparison is very low right now.

    What are the words attached to each new level? I've only seen 3.
    0=?
    1=?
    2=Easy
    3=Intermediate
    4=Advanced
    5=?

    5 I might guess is "Expert", and maybe 0 or 1 will be "Basic", but 2 levels below "easy"? I suppose 0 must be RPMs/Gravity bots. Maybe 1="Basic", 0="Automatic"?

    Yes and No. A scale with too many gradations may result in 1 step being uninformative.

    I know 1=Very Easy, havent seen a 0 or 5 yet so not sure what they would be noted as. Going by 1's description, I would assume 5 is 'very advanced' or something like that. With 0 perhaps being 'extremely easy'?

    I have a problem for this scale of 1-5 actually. I guess, it doesn't tell me anything when I see a transformer that has 2, or 5, for example.

    But when you think about it, is a "2", intuitive to transform versus a 5 being "not intuitive"?

    Is a "5" necessarily more "fun" than a "2"?

    I guess I am saying that the number does not offer to me any indication on the quality of design. There are "4"s that I brought that are VERY fun to transform, and intuitive. Instructions are never necessary but it is always a challenge. Then there are "4"s that are a nightmare to transform, and at the end you don't find a challenge. You find frustration.

    Oh I forgot my scale:

    0: Duh
    1: Easy
    2: Moderate
    3: Challenging
    4: Difficult
    5: Expert

    Keep in mind this is based on the ages the transformers are usually "geared" for: 12 year olds.
