I have been waiting for his company to ship an in-stock item since I paid in full on December 22nd. I have contacted him four times via his site, and once through Facebook messenger. No replies. One month and counting on "Waiting for Shipping".

 

I've got FH's Kap that I bought back on 1/9 that says shipped, but no other progress.

Waiting for the balance off on GT Hotspot and BFB Mocha.

I'm giving him some leeway with CNY coming up, but feeling iffy on future dealings.

Never had much trouble before.

Also Baba and an AliExpress seller are taking a long time too with more of GT Defensor

 

Yeah the communication is really poor right now.

Wow there's a whole thread on this? Months ago I got frustrated with delays in shipping and communication. I see I'm not alone.
I never did order from Terrys again - just not worthwhile when there are plenty of other retailers with similar prices and responsive quick shipping or issue resolution.

 

Terry has never let me down. Good dude. Jus' sayin

 

Does anyone know of any issues with them? I am waiting for Xtransbots Janssen and I am at almost six weeks. It's the second figure I've got from them and the first one took about two weeks. They are not responding to messages at all. My tracking hasn't been updated in over two weeks now.

Anyone know of any issues? I cancelled all my other preorders from them as it stinks to high heaven.

One of their team posts here, semi-regularly. I've yet to hear of a complaint about them. People tend to love their services.

It could be a postal thing. I know the airlines are backed up in China and the USPS/customs office are in no hurry on their end.

Slow shipping and slower communication have been an issue for a while now. But he always delivers…eventually.

Has Terry (of Terrystfsclub.com) disappeared altogether?

 

The only reason to order from Terry is if he has a lower price or is the only one left with stock. Otherwise you're better off with ShowZ who won't go dark for months at a time or take forever to ship.

 

I ordered from Terry for the first time recently and everything was absolutely fine. Dispatch was a little slow but once it was out of the door it was with me in the UK in just over a week. Packaging was top notch, as was the price.

 

I preordered FT Huffer from them. After receiving Huffer, they asked me if it arrived. So no problem with them.

 

I've ordered a few things from him over the least four or five years without issue. That even includes Thomas, which was pre-ordered on his old site and the order was successfully transferred to the new system when it finally released over a year later.

Communication has always been a little questionable. I suspect it's a very small group (possibly just Terry and his immediate family, maybe a couple others) so I get that things are sometimes overwhelming. If he hasn't responded within about a week it's probably safe to assume it's been missed so try again. But keep in mind that it wasn't deliberate, and also keep in mind these last couple weeks have been CNY so there's going to be a backlog.

Regarding the shipping, I've found (at least since the new site went up) that I don't get tracking updates until it gets in-country. This can leave up to a couple of weeks where nothing at all happens, then suddenly it will spring to life and be at my door within another week. I don't ship enough stuff (well, I don't really ship anything) to know why this is the case but so far it's been pretty reliable. I have been using the more expensive shipping since it was first put on offer, though, since it's usually only an extra couple of dollars - and the site has mentioned that using the slower option can be VERY slow since the pandemic hit. My last couple of orders from Show.Z have been the same so the grass isn't always greener.

He used to post a bit here under @TerryTFSclub, but hasn't logged in since October so I wouldn't count that as a reliable means of communication.

 

I ordered 2 Black Mamba figures last month and had zero issues whatsoever. They arrived within a very reasonable timeframe and packaging was well done. The shipping status updated regularly, once the export hub in China released them. The minor delay was caused by CNY I suppose. This was my third order with Terry and I don't see why I shouldn't buy from him in the future.

 

Had 8 orders the last 6 months, not a single problem with Terry.

He hasn't shipped my last one yet but I ordered a week ago and it's CNY. I know he will deliver.

 

Lats I ordered FH's Kap in in early January, got it in February.
