I first heard about these figures on this forum over a year ago:

(I'd reference the original thread, but I can't find it for the life of me.) Anyways, has anyone heard anything about them? The site says they were supposed to come out in 2005, but I haven't seen anything in any online stores or on eBay.

 

I remember seeing those pics when they were first announced. I don't think Max Factory ever released them. Too bad. I would have jumped on getting all three, especially Big Fau!

 

I wish. I still have that bookmarked from the first time they popped up. I'm still hoping they'll come out at some point, I'd be all over them in a heartbeat.

 

Darn, I was actually kinda hoping that I'd just missed them, rather than Big O getting the short end of the stick -again-  

 

I got something similar a few years ago of Big O. Had Roger and robo girl with it.

 

If that's what I'm thinking, and it probably is, then it's pretty different. PVC Big O with 3 different pairs of hands, minimal articulation, and Roger and Dorothy are just statues. Good stuff, but drastically less articulated than the frame we've seen for this new model.

FYI, they made a Big Duo pack with Roger and Angel in the same style as the Big O pack you have. Like so-

 

I myself was wondering what had happened to those figures, as they looked badass. I wonder if they were scrapped in favor of the insane number of Votoms figures Max Factory is doing now? Although, it's more likely that they'll pop up at some point, especially if they were as far along into production as those pictures suggest.

If I ever get some spare cash or if TF’s die down I totally have to get those big Big O and Big Duo figs. Been wanting to get my hand of em for a looong wile.

 

In fact I do! I thought I was going to have to dig it out storage (boxed that shelf up last night) but I found some shots I took a while back.

You should keep an eye out for the Big Duo set, it can get pretty pricey sometimes so it's never too early to start watching for a good deal.

 

That's a sweet collection you've got their, Orodruin!   Although, I'm starting to get a little freaked out at how we seem to be interested in the same toys, lol

I've been tempted to go for that Big Duo set, but my only problem is that there's no Big Fau in that scale (the Bandai Anime Collector toyline folded long before Big O II was even announced). I'd much rather get the Max Factory set, if they ever do produce them, and have the three Bigs standing together. (I really wish they'd do the -fourth- Big as well, but beggars can't be choosers, especially when it comes to Big O)

 

Dude I have wanted the Big Duo form that series forever. Man I would Kill for that.

 

Man, I wish we would get some more Big O figures, I loved that show.

 

Orodurin I saw that Big O that you have at Fry's for about six months a few years ago. I never bought it. When I decided to go and get it it was gone. 

 

I have the Big-O figure but could not find Big Duo. It would be nice to have more Big-O figures like Big Fau and Big Due II but at this point I would rather have Big-O season three. One can dream.

 

Well the show is back on adult swim on Thursdays at least, maybe there's still hope.

 

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a Revoltech Big O. We got an Overman King Gainer and we're getting Convoy, so anything is possible!
