Sure. Why not yet another Batman movie in the supposedly "DC Extended Universe". Because when in doubt, bring Batman franchise into the mix. I mean, it's not like we have other DC characters to spend time, money, effort and timing slots onto, right? No. It's more Batman. And when it's not Batman it'll be about Batman characters.

 

So I guess the Joker and Batman have to cameo in this, to make it worth anything?

I wouldn't mind seeing DCU Poison Ivy appear in this though, that would be awesome.

 

She was pretty entertaining in Suicide Squad, being one of the standout performances there (in my opinion), so I am okay with this. Maybe we can see more details of her character, like relationships with characters like Ivy. I'm honestly hoping for a better costume this time around.

 

While I would prefer a Gotham City Sirens movie, I certainly don't mind this. Suicide Squad was trash but Margot did really well with what little they offered for Harley. I'm hoping this introduces Ivy and their relationship with one another too.

And good for Margot! I'm so happy for her.

 

It could just be Margot standing there and I'd get my money worth.

 

I haven't seen the movie but from the previews she looks like the best part of it visually and acting like the character.

 

You're bitching about not getting more Affleck Batman, what's wrong with you.

 

Since everyone involved in the DCEU seems to love all the grim'n'gritty of DC's past, I'd like to see Barbara Gordon cast as Oracle with that history with the Joker leading a Birds of Prey team versus Harley, Ivy, and a collection of DC female villains.

No Boys Allowed.

 

She sold that lousy movie to the tune of hundreds of millions of dollars. How boring would it have been with just Will Smith and those losers.

Money dictates that this happen.

 

Now that would make for a good Harley Quinn movie that could lead to a Birds of Prey spin-off.

 

They should just adapt the Harley and Ivy miniseries




So many great moments in that mini series, and of a much more fun tone than the previous DCD movies.

At the very least this is the type of story I wish the would adapt for one of the DC animated movies.

i'd like to see Barbara as Batgirl, since i prefer her as batgirl, to Oracle.

I'm cool with Barbara starting the movie as Batgirl in flashback and getting crippled by Joker and Harley in a way that will divorce its association with the skeevy TKJ and then picking up the story as Oracle leading the Birds. Barbara Gordon as Batgirl is fun, but Oracle is one DC's best characters of the last 30 years.

 

And Harley Quinn, part of the bat family franchise= part of the batman extended universe.

 

If they did that.
