I agree with a lot of people.
MP Megatron pretty much stays in robot mode due to this and his gun mode is way too bulky. But for me it's gotta be Binaltech Grimlock mostly due to having to be careful as if you breath wrong you scratch the paint. Also the damn doors always fall off. Actually all of my Binaltechs stay in robot mode because of this. DAMN SCRATCHING PAINT!!!!

 

From what I own: Darth Vader/Death Star is a pain to get perfectly sphericalularly(sp?) circely

From what I hear: Rotf Mixmaster and MP Megatron

 

That's interesting b/c this was yet another easy figure I never had to use instructions on....

But damn, it took me and that old lady and all those profs. 8 weeks to transform barricade back into a cop car.

But seriously ROTF Leader Op. hands down. It took me ten minutes just to combine him with jetfire and it was so simple, I just could not get them to snap together right.

 

ROTF Leader Prime.

 

We all know that RID Omega Prime is a pain to combine together, but it's worth all the trouble. Also, he's top heavy because of Ultra Magnus's weight.

For me, the hardest transformers to transform are:
Energon Metroplex
TFTM Leaders Optimus Prime and Megatron
Star Wars TF Death Star Darth Vader
TFTM Bumblebee ('78 and '08 Camaros)

Movie Longarm - the front of his towtruck-mode is a NIGHTMARE to transform.

 

RotF Leader Optimus Prime. Before that, it was MP Prime.

 

R.I.D Megatron to his car mode.

I even had to look up the instructions multiple times!

 

Masterpiece Megatron hands down!!!!!!!!!!

I tried, really I did, but parts just would not line up correctly. It's the only transformer I've owned that I could'nt get right.

I figure I'll order another one either from here or on Ebay in gun mode and display them both side by side.

I'll cheat on that one, and it will be my only duplicate

The only Transformers I have a problem with are the Alternators, in particular Skids. Every other Transformer I can deal with fairly easily. It might take 10 minutes or so, but I know where everything goes no problem. Alternators, though, just piss me the hell off. It's Transformers minus the fun.

 

I would have to say RID Side Burn, followed closely by Univers Nemesis Prime (wooly mammoth).

I've noticed that some people are saying the Alt/Binaltech Prime mold. I used to have trouble getting him back into alt-mode (the panels refused to line up) but I figured out that if you push down the red shoulder joints (with a bit of force), It seems to do the trick.

No, crossovers Luke - X-wing. Had it at a school fundraiser for a toy at a games booth. Jacked it to try and transform it, and it took me like 2 hours. I put it back on the counter as everyone was leaving. SADLY I didnt take it

 

A large part of the problem, to me, is that his joints and plastics felt...flimsy, to me. I was afraid of breaking him or snapping him.

But a much, much larger problem to me was the alts were simply NOT fun to transform. I took no pleasure in that one.

And this from a guy who loved all the CR/RiD molds.
