Happy Thanksgiving to all TFW Canucks. Even though i had Thankgiving dinner yesterday, atleast we still have left-overs. I've always been meaning to ask people? Do you think it's better to have Thanksgiving in October or Novemeber?
i had my thanksgiving yesterday. october. especially on a nice day like yesterday. 28 degrees celcius.
Oh yeah, I totally forgot about Thanksgiving. That's okay I guess, I'm all grumbly and unappreciative most days anyway.
^ celebrate it at local dim sum place or something. i'd trade an entire turkey for some dim sum. no fung zhao please. anyway... november? must be backwards thinkers like the ones who still use fahenheit and those who still refuse to use the metric system like the rest of the world. we got it right dude. harvest season ends in october here. itsmuch later than down south. canadians celebrate it to give thanks for the harvest not as much the pilgrims or massacre of native indians. traditionally, it is to give thanks for the harvest.
Well Seali Me, I just had some plain ol' beef noodles because I wasn't thinking Thanksgiving at all. Dim sum places here don't tend to be as good as ones in Hong Kong or Vancouver. Taiwan food is not really China Chinese food, north or south, it's just its own thing. But 鳯爪feng4 zhua3 are good here too. And since no turkey and potatoes to be had for this dude, it'll be non-white food for this white guy again tomorrow. No 臭豆腐 for me though.
I prefer it in November. There's so many days off in Nov. and Dec. it's great It's Columbus Day in the US, whoopdeedoo.
I've already have Thanksgiving planned here. Turkey with family, and they promised me the wishbone. Any suggestions for a wish? And No, I'm not going to wish for Mirage.
Well I guess it is......I don't even like Family Guy anymore.....now all the stupid lines of the show are burried deep within my brain.
Don't do thankgiving anymore (family issues) but we had angus burgers last night on the BBQ because at 20C+ in october is good weather for a last barbecue of the season. :>
