“You know I can’t play without a guitar string.”

Do we know if this is going to be on any streaming services in the future? Unless it’s already on Boomerang...

Happy 80 years to a classic animation team of cat and mouse, that have entertained us with their comical conflict!

Hanna-Barbara's versions were their best, acting like silent films with great comical stunts accompanied by beautiful music. Of course later on, with dialogue coming in the later cartoons tried to including excessive dialogue and actual human interaction, with mixed results IMO.

Chuck Jones' WB-styled adaptation was distinct enough and Gene Deitch's adaptations were average.

I use to love Tom and Jerry. We had a recorded vhs of some episodes and I watched them constantly. Even when my sister and I played Tom and Jerry, she always made me Tom and I always get hurt.
