Theyre the original scale; just repainted. Except for CE chief; he is bigger than Halo 3 chief
Argh, frustrating. I was hoping the Reach scale would be the new scale as I wanted my ODST and Noble 6 together!
Thanks for the info though!
I bought The Dutch Anni. Fig., And the moment i took him out of the Package he fell apart.
Anybody have else this problem.
Reusing old pre-Reach molds for some of the Anniversary figures was a really stupid idea. They should have been remade, like they did for the Halo 1 Master Chief.
Yeah, my ODST Anni figure just looks silly next to my Noble Six. I'm thinking about returning him bc I don't think they're worth their price tag
I plan on getting most, if not all, of the Anniversary figures that have a BAL piece (Build a Logo). Dutch and Mickey being smaller doesn't bother me, as they'll be the only non-Spartan humans on my shelf, but the Arbiter and Grunt will look awkward compared to the Reach Elites and Grunts. I might be able to trade for the series 2 white/blue Mark VI's BAL piece (I know someone who might want just the figure).
scythe posted this a awhile back if you want to see the scale, both chiefs are scaled right:
I got Gogdogged and bought my first Play Arts Kai figure in the form of Emile. One of my biggest concerns is the wrist joint. If I bend it in any direction the joint splits in half. Is this a joint that I can just pull out, or is it attached in a barbell-type connection point in the wrist?
Square Enix needs to get it right, Mark VI armor is NOT Combat Evolved. I was tricked again into thinking that their NYCC exclusive Chief was a Halo: CE homage.

Can you post a pic of this?
The nearest thing I can compare Emile's wrist is it's like a big revoltech wrist...but made of 2 pcs only -- male on one side that plugs to the female counterpart. Maybe the 2 halves of the joint aren't "locked" in securely?
That silver one is amazing.
That's not Mark VI, it's Mark IV.
Sorry, typo, Mark IV.
Whoa, saw and bought a bunch of series 5 at Target today in So.Cal. Bought a few Target Exclusive armor packs, so I'll be updating my armory.
Just recently saw the Anniversary series 1 figures for the first time in-stores. Only one I didn't see was the Arbiter. CE Chief looks great, as does Cortana and the Grunt (who's absolutely tiny, but still a must-have). Dutch doesn't look that bad in-person either, and his armor has grown on me a bit. I'll definitely pick them all up the next time I get the chance.
looks like series 5 is out early; found the elite ranger, carter, red operator and the gungnir at target plus the armor pack and weapon pack
Got lazy and figured I'd just pull it out. It's just a regular male to male joint.
Review: NYCC Exclusive Spartan Mark V -silver-
Got me my first Anniversary figure, the Halo 3 Spec Ops Grunt. He's a pretty cool little figure, but definitely small. Still worth it though. The paintjob on him is excelent, and the cannon is great. The mask was a little hard to get plugged into his mouth, but once in it looks good. The grenade is nice, but not needed. I'll probably just give it to one of my other figures.
The Elite skull is really great. The paint and texture this thing has are really nice touches, and the sculpt is really detailed. I can't wait to finish off the full emblem.
I would have gotten the Arbiter, but they still don't have any of him out, and the other three had at least two on the pegs, so I'm not worried about getting them just yet. If I don't see the Arbiter next time I'm out, Cortana is next priority, then Chief and Dutch.
Still no sign of series 5 stuff, but oh well. I've got Anniversary figures to get, and I might get some series 4 and 2 figures that are still floating about (probably just the Grunt Major and Kat).
Man, I still cannot find the Elite General anywhere.
I was lucky to find one at a comic shop. Saving it for myself for Christmas.
I'm a very thoughtful shopper.
