That's how I roll.
We usually hand out whatever's cheap, so this year children that come to our door get freezies. yup.
Dressing up as Hidan from Naruto and prowling the streets.
I'll be turning off the lights and enjoying a peaceful evening of Battlefield 3 and cups of tea.
I've been working for weeks on a full-on sculpted Pokemon costume (Zekrom, for those that would know the character) for my 9-year-old daughter, and was really looking forward to Monday for her to finally wear it for Trick-or-Treating.
Well, there's a few inches of snow on the ground outside now, and I'm seeing weeks of hard work go down the drain.
So, if the snow doesn't go away by Monday afternoon, I'll be spending Halloween downright PISSED OFF.
I love you.
I'm bored as shit, as our halloween parties aren't till later. I started drinking around 4 CST, and I've had 4 beers, and am already starting to feel it.
We are dressing as Mario and "Player 3 Luigi"
I haven't trick-or-treated in more than 5 years. I practically never celebrate Halloween anymore; just another day to me. My parents decorate the house though and I like the way they do so. We never get any trick-or-treaters either, probably because we live in what the mainstream crowd would call "the ghetto".
What I do miss about Halloween? My family used to get together at my grandparents' farm and we would all dress up and play games. There'd be awesome music, candy, raffles, etc. Just good ol' family fun. We'd all been planning another party for a few years but after my uncle passed away, my aunt hasn't been too interested in the idea anymore.
^^ stelio kontos!
Starting from six in the afternoon, I'll dress up in my Freddy Krueger outfit, break out the Wynchwood Hobgoblin beer and sit down for a horror marathon, beginning with 30's Dracula, continuing with 30's Frankenstein and the original Nightmare on Elm Street, and finishing up with John Carpenter's Halloween.
If I had darker skin and a black wig, I'd gladly throw a Kinko's gown on and go trick-or-treating dressed as him. And better yet, drag around a big dummy of Stan.
Years back I would go around the neighborhood with my family (mother, 2-3 sisters, 3 nephews, and 1 niece).
Not sure what they plan on doing this year.
Mother has passed on.
All three sisters live a town over.
My eldest nephew moved to Florida.
These days I hand out candy.
Fewer and fewer people come around as when I used to venture out.
Chances are I'll have plenty of leftovers.
We already had Halloween here. I dressed up as Captain Mal Reynolds from Firefly.
Going to a club tonight as Black Lantern Superboy. Made a t-shirt and belt buckle for it.
watch tv as always
I'm going to spend the evening not giving a single solitary shit about Halloween.
School, then seeing Paranormal 3, then watching whatever's on the AMC fear fest while eating left over candy for the rest of the night. My neighborhood doesn't have many trick or treaters anymore so I'll probably have a decent amount of candy for myself.
Wish it was on a Saturday like it was a couple years ago.
I'll be watching PA3, then a horror marathon later on.
I'll do some pumpkin carving at my girlfriend's house (first time in a few years giving a Jack O' Lantern a lobotomy ) and handing out candy.
If I'm not handing out candy, I'll probably be hiding in the shrubs scaring people with silly string and/or an air horn.
In the meantime, I'll probably get out John Carpenter's THE THING.
