How do you guys celebrate Halloween? Do you pass out candy, go trick-or-treating, partying, or see movies? If you pass out candy, what's your favorite kind to give out? I feel like I've done it all and am looking for ideas for something different.
For me, it differs. Last year I slept over at a friend's house and we filmed a video making fun of the FRED series on Youtube. Never did get uploaded though. I also LOVE watching horror movies, so I tend to do that on Halloween as well.
Watch my mum shout/scare Trick r Treaters,we only give out candy sometimes because most kids want money. I have a feeling that this halloween is going to be boring like last year.
Pft. Screw his candy. I've got knives. C'mon, you know you want em. All the COOL kids have knives...In their faces...
I'm planning to stay at home and watch horror movies or maybe the special "Ghost Hunters live" on SyFy. I lived in the same address for nearly 10 years and only once, I had kids come to my door. So I don't need to buy a bag of candy. I remember when I was little, the neighborhood streets was packed with kids trick n' treating every Halloween. But you don't see that anymore, ever since that Tylenol scandal back in 1982. I've had people telling me they can't stand Candy Corn. I like it, but I only eat it every October. Not all year around.
Used to go trick-or-treating as a kid, then as I got older I did nothing but stay at home and watch Halloween specials. Since I live out in the country, there's no trick-or-treaters to worry about getting candy for. This year, I'm either going to be at home watching Halloween specials, or I may end up going with my mom on this "Spooktacular" Bingo/Casino trip if my dad doesn't decide to go (the SOB can't make up his damn mind, despite the fact the trip's already paid for and that he said that he would go).
A winning combination... Halloween candy AND casino gambling,it doesnt get any better than that!!!(LOL!)This year I'll be watching horror movies, giving out treats, and cursing at that f***ing skeleton decoration that keeps falling over!!!
I usually go to a costume party and usually make it a point to have some pumpkins carved for the occassion as well. Sadly though this year I did not leave myself enough time to plan out a costume or carve pumpkins, so I will spend this Halloween just watching horror movies.
I didn't say that I was actually going to go on this bingo/casino trip. It's only if my dad doesn't decide to go. If the weather is going to be all rainy, then chances are he'll go; if the weather is nice, then he's going to want to stay at home to finish harvesting soybeans and that'll mean that I will be the one who ends up going with my mom because she can't get anybody else to go with her. No sense for her to not go if it's already paid for and my dad can't make up his concocted mind. Besides, if I was to go, chances are that I won't bother gambling... especially in a group of couples old enough to be my parents and grandparents. Not my ideal way of spending Halloween...
