I actually think it looks really cool.

Something about the totally old school block of cheese (not the food) that G1 Starscream was appeals to me in ways few G1 toys really did.

Same. I'm not a fan of those stickers either. To be frank, I'm not sure why they even bothered with anything because once its on a tree, you'll never see it, unless your planning on mounting it on top, instead of an angel.

 

No. They do not transform. They are renditions of their g1 toy forms. I love them. Have every single one so far and can’t wait to add him to the collection

 

Cool. Been waiting for Starscream to join the other four. Now it will be in the Decepticons favor: 3 to 2!  

 

Before someone says it, yes, Christmas ornaments (and Christmas cards, and etc) are very profitable for Hallmark. So of course this happens early. (July is the start of the Keepsake club)

I know someone who is a manager for one of the many locally owned chain of stores. So i come here prepared.

I seriously love these ornaments.

 

It's interesting that they went with an orange canopy. I've had an orange canopy on my G1 Starscream for years.

 

Why? The last four were very G1 toy based. If anything, they should have given him a dark grey or black canopy as the G1 toy didn't have orange there.

What bugs me the most is that all the others were put into their G1 boxart poses ( even though the G1 toy they're based on couldn't get in those poses ), but Starscream is just standing there just like the toy.

 

I was definitely expecting an Autobot, such as Bumblebee, for this year, but this looks like it'll be a great addition.

 

This is bad comedy.

 

I'm sure you were hoping for a G1 toy version under Hallmark but the Carlton Cards one is and will be better than then anything that comes out next. Maybe you already have it? The Optimus that came after was pretty nice too. Way better than the crappy one at Target last year. Megs wasn't bad either.

Hallmark isn't what it used to be i.e. lights and/or sounds they usually came with in ornaments like these.

 

I’ve got those. They are quite awesome.
