Although I didn't vote for him, kudos for getting Erector nominated. Hasbro did a great job with the bio too.  

However, I hate to be a wet blanket, but Hasbro has given itself a back door in case Erector actually wins. Here is the fine print on the bottom of the page:

I'd have been all for this obscure Transformer in the HoF movement if it wasn't so clearly to put a Transformer who is unfortunately closely named to "Erection", there.

Let me ask you Erector-ites this. Why Erector? Why not the Autobot or Decepticon Clones? (First thing that came to mind when I was browsing for other obscure G1 TFs) They have names that haven't been used again. And they're way cooler than Erector.

Although its in the name of "fun", and there's nothing really wrong with talking about erect penises, it just smacks of HEHEEHEHEHE WE SAID BONER, to me.

I'm surprised Erector made it in, but I think it's great that Hasbro has a good sense of humor about it and I enjoy the bio they made for him (the quote is great, as is the detail about him creating unpopular Transformers toys). It'll be interesting to see if he wins.
I voted Waspinator, but I like all the nominees so I don't care who wins.

I love Erector's profile, it is just brilliant and shows Hasbro have a great sense of humour  . That is canon now.

I'm amused and slightly disturbed that someone else has trademarked 'Erector'.

Although, Autobot Erector is a bit dull - they could've thrown in a pun or something.

I hope he doesn't get the shaft. Then again he's up against some stiff competition. Hard as it may be, I think he can beat the other entries and pull it out in the end!

 

God, the bandwagon on the meme to join in to "feel cool like everyone else!" is so stupid.

The fact that he showed up is annoying. Those of you on the Erector bandwagon, how would you have felt if Prime had indeed ended up saying "Do a barrel roll!"?

 

No one can pull the "he doesn't have fiction" card anymore. Erector is the future!
