thought for a minute that might be good fodder for a custom large scale Erector.. but I am not even sure that.. trailer.. could be reconfigured correctly (even with heavy modification, including, but not limited to cutting and reforming parts).. having sold my armada overload I have no way to mess around with it and check :(

Transformers: The Rise of Erector (wave 1 figures)

I hope I don't piss everybody off with all the images. Ever since the final 5 was announced, I've been working on as many possible Erector repaints as possible. Here is my first batch of them. Hasbro, Takara, Botcon/Funpub, Kitbashers, Repainters, ko bootleggers: THESE NEED TO BE. Show your support for Erector!

(Probably my favorite of the bunch for a modern Erector)

(This would come with a yellow Backwind minicon. The minicon's lineart is garbage so i couldn't include it. It can be mounted on the back of the truck as a makeshift crane.)

(If the minicon was even included, he could be Drivetrain or something.)

(Ideally, his gun would be replaced with the energon axe/hook crane from Strongarm. I think in both cases, the weapons are on individual mold sprues and this could actually be done.)

(I think it's funny everyone was JUST talking about the costco repaint as a makeshift Erector. Well here's my take at it.)

I have another batch coming up in a few more days. I really wanted to do a repaint of the Energon Roadblock mold, but the lineart is unchanged (mostly, and what is changed is piss poor at that) from Inferno. But really, he's pretty damn close to Erector as it is. Yellow crane truck with redish windows? Remove the silver paint and replace the brown with gray and he's a damn good Erector. He's probably be the easiest for someone to physically repaint (or you can just swap the brown parts for Inferno's silver/gray)

Hope everyone enjoys my support for Transformers #1 little guy!

Erector was an unlockable 'Minicon' in Atari/ Melbourne House's 2004 game Armada: Prelude to Energon.

When found (On a drop ship far off the remote Archipelago), Erector gains the player temporary invincibility.
As pictured, Erector also replaces the players primary Minicon. As to how he powerlixes without a known Minicon Port, it is still a mystery.

Edit:^ (Repaints above) *Jaw hits ground as I consider that the next post movie line could easily be Transformers: Rise of the Erector* Truly Supreme!

Another vote for Erector and a new signature.
Does anyone know how to reduce the file size of an animated .gif? Thanks.

Found this on an Obscure website:

It looks particularly obscure, far more so than others I've found.

Well, although I'm still supporting Grimlock, I have a victory to give to the Erector-crowd right now.

You have intrigued me about this toy. I have gone on eBay and have purchased a set. Expect a review of the toy on my blog around the time of the actual Hall of Fame ceremony (win or lose).

You know for some reason everytime I hear the word candidate now days. I think of LOST. Does any other LOST fan feel that way?

Also, when does the voting end?
