I think if I ever hit 4 digits for weight I'd throw in the towel.

It's good to hear that someone takes responsibility. Too many people get obese and act like they had nothing to do with it. Good luck with your weight loss. :thumb  Hope you get trim in no time.

It's one thing to be 6ft 250 and fat

But it's ANOTHER THING to get obese to the point you can't move:redface2:

You'd think he'd have gotten the point when he weighed 600lbs

How does a person not notice when their bellly hangs down to their knees?  :sly:

I guess it just takes some people longer than others to get the wake up call. Mine came when I got over 400 ... Im far below that now, but Ive still got a ways to go.

Yea cutting out fast food does complete wonders. I stopped eating fast food completely for about two years and I dropped from 230 down to 150 in about two and a half years of no fast food and only casual excercise. Now I'm at the point were I actually want to weight more than I do so I'm trying to lift weights and such to put some pounds of muscle on.

Wow. Suddenly being stuck at 220 doesn't seem so bad.

In spite of all efforts I can't seem to lose a single pound of that shit. Excercise, diet, NOTHING works. My stupid body lays down ever ounce of fat it can find and refuses to metabolize anything. Been stuck at this weight for nearly 10 years.

    6'2" by the way.

    Great to hear it.

As for me, I'm also cutting down on my eating habits and planning to go out for walks or riding a bike. I've noticed that I lost some weight ever since I started working full-time 2 years ago which is a great improvement.

He must have some weird genetic issue to go from 290 to 1200. I just can't imagine packing on 1000 pounds and not trying to do anything about it or wondering why.

No kidding, I've cut junk food out completely and it makes a lot of difference. I used to eat way too much of that crap back in college, but now my girlfriend and I have made a pack to stay way from it.
