Within the past few days I have had to completely stop playing WFC multiplayer (Which I only have about 4 hours played atm). This is due to the fact that every match at least 3 people are using rapid fire, insta-shield, or unkillable(god mode) hacks.

The multiplayer in WTF was so fun until suddenly I'm being rapid fired by a nullray (and they never run out of ammo or stop to reload) or rockets from their jet mode etc. Then when i do sneak up on them as they spray in all other directions I can melee them 5 times and they don't die, they just kill who they were killing then turn to me and kill me.

Apparently this is linked to the single player cheats carrying over to multiplayer.
However there is no way to report these hackers so it doesn't matter.

So anyway, does anyone know if/when a patch may be coming out and do you think this issue will be addressed? Or is the game i waited over 20 years for pretty much over already?

 

I've run into invincible people too. I shot a soldier with my null ray 5 times and nothing. I know it hit him because I zoomed in on his tank mode and had the curser light up red.

Yeah, we've had quite a few cheaters. I really hope High moon makes patches so these rediculous online issues can be fixed.

I've noticed that the online number is dropping on PSN. I played today at seven o' clock Central, and there were only 1,300 people online. Maybe people are playing other games, maybe they're just bored with what we have, but with the considerable amount of frustration at the online issues, I'd say there's more than just that. High Moon had better do something before they lose everyone else...

 

I agree. I found this game while looking for the Korean Transformers MMO that is in the works (unfortunately it will only be available to China and Russia rather than countries like the U.S. and Japan who made the brand popular.) I saw the intro and it was so awesome I seriously had my mouth wide open the entire time. I bought it the next day and was amazed at ALL of it. It is one of the big reasons I have gotten the TF bug again (not that it ever goes away entirely, but I'm more into them than I've been since 2004) and now I can't even play it w/o being utterly frustrated. Oh well, if they fix it I will be sure to jump back on again.

Back to topic though, yeah. I think the final score was the cheater had like 180-something points and the rest of his (including his teammates) had like low teens. I had 10 points in that game.
