That would be a pretty terrible crossover anyway as just about any Gundam or MS could take out any number of Autobots or Decepticons fairly easily. RB-79 >>> Unicron.
well.. that's hard to say. you have people who control towering mechs, and machines with personalities. it's like trying to fuse an orange with an apple.
say if it did happen, a human with newtype/seed/inovator power in a gundam fighting a sentient transformer would be interesting...
Pretty much this. Some TF's might do alright against grunt level mobile suits, but as for Gundams in general, the TF's would be slaughtered. Heck, the RX-93 Nu Gundam alone could take out the entire TF army. Gundams are just completely overpowering if placed in Transformers fiction. Any chance at this would be in a episode of South Park or Robot Chicken.
the 2 series just don't match up well, as the weapons in the gundam series, especially the later ones, seem much more powerful than any transformer weapon, I say seem as its really impossible to an objective comparison as what a weapon in either series does is totally up to the whims of the script writers but anyway can't see it happening
Also, a very character driven show would probably not work well when mixed with a show where the main character invariably slaughters entire legions of faceless, identical troops.
God, I hope not. When I saw the thread title I remembered a backissue of ToyFare where they did a Gundam vs Transformers cover story and by their accounts Gundam was better than TF by a landslide. I've always meant to write a letter asking them about that issue now...

Wow...now if that combination didn't look like ass as a toy, I'd be more intimidated. It's a flying truck...with sword arms. Awesome from a TF perspective, but to a Gundam it's just something to swat.
Let's hope not. Sounds like Gundams are Mary-Sue levels of overpowered. It would be an unfair and boring fight.
There are only three things that can stop a Gundam: 1. Another Gundam 2. A space station sized beam cannon (sometimes) 3. Teen angst A millenia of combat experience means nothing in the Gundam universe. XP
just imagine wing zero double barrel beam rifle. all he has to do is spin 360 and everything is basically dead. or gp02 nuke cannon. boom. i love tf and all but like everyone said, these gundams are just really powerful. if you think about it, gundams were icons of vast power to be reckoned with as in most of the anime we've seen. tf were about warriors who fought for what they believed in. hard to compare the two.
