    I couldnt find a thread like this so I thought I’d create one.

    The idea is to keep this thread about all things Gundam lore and geek out about the fiction, stories, mecha designs, etc...

    First question,

    i’ve been scouring the web for an answer but couldnt find it.

    Project V in the UC timeline was intended to be transported from Side 7 for an intended personnel

    The whole original series then takes place and a young crew of civilians and Noah Bright end up being the crew for the White Base.

    So my question is.... who was the RX-78-2’s original intended pilot?

    The name of the pilot(s) intended for the RX-78-2 have never been known. One account I know of does tell that one of the test pilots survived at least long enough to learn that his machine had been commandeered by a kid, but that's all I think anyone knows. Information comes from this video starting around 9:07
