but 4now i'll try, this Gundam standard comes with a detachable armor
So I removed the head and modified a G1 Scattershot head...
(like I did with my other Magnus custom)
only this time the ears didn't have 2b retractable, so I now used metal rods

Since the base figure is already almost all white...
I don't have 2 change much there, but I will see if I can get another set of feet
cuz how I like the current feet 4 ULTRA mode, it feels way 2 big 4 the MAGNUS
obviously I will add details & the shoulder towers + missles etc.

As you all can see I took some Lego's and voila can u c it now??  
Still working on the chestpiece obviously!

Found a gun modded lill bit and I think it kinda fits UM 4 now...
also did a quick & dirty photoshop 2 c where this should go I guess

anyways, I took it apart... need 2 finish it in time for the meeting, so no Alt!
But I did modify the original Gundam head to look more Magnus like

Minor update, painted both heads

All the base white are done... (not pictures the lego towers and rockets)
Then come the s*cky part, the thin armor into blue....

Man I so sorry that i lost motivation on lots of projects..
but I´m actually having a blast going back in time finishing up stuff

small update added Autobot faction stickers on both shoulder like it better than a single shoulder anyways...

which figure did you use for this?

 

need to trim off the square that is the base of scattorshot's neck/head and shorten the ball joint, neck is way too long.

 

I honestly do not understand the point of this custom, and why to use the Alex Gundam itself to do this?

just because it has armor? seems like a waste of a perfectly good alex gundam kit to me

not trying to be mean, but there are better base bodies to make an ultra magnus custom

but 1st of it was a fast fit 2 c how it would look +
I'll make the chest bigger, so then neck would prolly not stand out

Alex Gundam 1:60 Mastergrade
now I remember, well honestly I have the booklet next 2 me now  

Sometimes its all about the fun while getting an idea into labour...
I done worse things in my live as a customizer  

 

I have that Mastergrade and it is one damn fine kit and it kind of hurts seeing it cut up. I really don't know how you're going to make a Magnus out of it and make it transform. Good luck though.

I can see it as UM now with your photoshop and addtions done , I think it will make a great cybertron UM .
