Anyone else get addicted to this PS2 game recently? I Picked up it up this weekend and haven't really put it down since. the guitar controler is fun and they picked out some really good well known rock songs along with some really good not so well known bands and songs. its so incredibly additcting!!
I walked by Best Buy when a kid was playing and heard Franz Ferdinand's Take Me Out and was instantly hooked... But my PS2 is dead...
It's awesome. Picked it up at Best Buy last Tuesday, and have played it pretty much everyday since. Very cool, can get very challenging, but it's awesome when you finally beat that song thats been killing you.
I got mine at best buy but i've seen the game at both best buy and fry's electronics. bark at the moon even on med. difficulty is really hard.. i love though that they have a clapton song (crossroads) and a SRV song (texas flood)
Check gamefaqs for the song list. 40+ songs in game. Loving this game even though I don't officially have a PS2 yet. Pulled a dumb move and bought the game and 2 guitars without even having the system. Now I'm itching to play it, but can't until my friends come over with a PS2. Plus I went a little overboard on spending the past month (stupid $600 study materials for my licensing exams...) (wishes there was a shaking fist smiley) so my impulse buy of Guitar Hero was the exact amount I couldn't pay for to cover my credit card bill. Oh well, at least I don't have a balance built up... I still don't really regret it though

speaking as someone who's been less than impressed with the song selections on a great number of popular music games, this has a really killers list. any game with Ace Of Spades has to be good.
Yeah the song list is great, as dorky as it sounds if I have a bad day I come home play through "You've got another thing comin," or "Symphony of Destruction," and I feel ten times better.
www.redoctane.com! I picked mine up from our software supplier for $80 cdn it is great and 10x better after a few beer!...my hand hurts from expert mode
My wife loves this game she is alot better at it then me, but I can whoop her ass at any of my other hundred games.
