And how, pray tell, is one supposed to hold that and have it be playable?
have they pushed the genre too far?
Watch the video they have. Looks pretty decent, though I can see myself scratching the screen to shit on Hard/ Expert songs.
Looks like hand/arm cramp central.
I can't decide if I think it's kinda cool or totally stupid, but i'm leaning towards the latter.
That is awesome! I'm totally going to pick that up. I love gimmicky add-ons like that. Now where's my eCard Reader DS Nintendo?
Price will be a huge factor on whether I would give this a chance or not. $50+ would make it a no buy for me.
I'd expect it to be $40-50, honestly, with the regular price for games being $30 and all.
No phat support?
Please? Just one?
I'll stick to the regular version, thanks. It's a cool idea/peripheral, but when the purpose of the game is to mimic playing a guitar, it fails.
I'm predicting midi versions of the licensed songs. No lyrics means no objectionable lyrics.
Remember hearing about this a long time back. Glad to finally see it with the attachment though. Plan to pick it up. Will most likely be the last Guitar Hero anything I get.
Because they have said that 80% of the songs will be master tracks, I'm guessing no midi here. They're probably going for songs without objectionable lyrics because the DS is aimed at a younger audience.
I'll be picking this up fo sho.
YAH JUST LIKE HOW REAL GEETAR HAS THEM FIVE FRETS AND I CAN PLAY WITH ONE STRING.
ITS LIEK REAL LIEF.
Actually, stylus on touch screen is about 1 hundred kajillion times more like playing dem real strings yo.
Smartass comment not needed, you know what I meant. The regular version at least looks like and is held like a regular guitar. This is more like playing an accordion or something.
