My hunch: Bumblebee repaint

 

I'd think so. But I think that he lives. He is too major a character to kill off half a movie in. And it looks like there is a Wave 4 because Stinger is not here.

 

It's very possible, although unfortunately there's no pictures yet. I do mention the possible rally car name over in the following thread:

Bumblebee's listed as a separate figure in Wave 3.

EDIT: It's possible that Hot Shot is a bee repaint. Although, I think it's unlikely the same mold would be used twice in the same wave. I could be wrong, of course.

True, but since he is basically Hot Rod, and given the recording, who better to lead the Bots. I know there is Bee, but Hot Shot or Hot Rod usually leads without OP.

 

If it is Hot Shot then that is AWESOME.

 

The Sonic wasn't seen in Hong Kong so he has a slim chance unless he is in robot mode the whole time plus the fact that he wasn't seen with the Bots on what many described as "the ending scene"

 

I do think he dies, but it is weird to use such a popular character like HS only to kill him off.

 

I would have preferred Prowl or Smokescreen, but Hot Shot will do.

I wonder if that means either Stinger will be in wave 4 or there will be a wave 3.5.

 

I would have preferred Smokescreen, as well, but since it looks like he might die, I'm not really upset about it.

 

Or they will do a 3.5 and add Stinger in like they did with 2.5 and lockdown.

 

Hot Shot huh? Intersting.

Maybe they are making Bee mature in these films? trying to put him to one side, and give Hotshot the spotlight like he had in the Unicron trilogy?

Just because the vehicle wasn't seen, doesn't mean Hotshot won't be there in Robot form.

Also if the Sonic does not die, what if he's captured and his design is used to make copy the Vehicons off of? We see that the humans based Stinger off of old Bee and claim Stingerti be a more advanced and better than Bee right? So what if they do the same with the Sonic "Hot Shot"? And if he does not die, he could rescan into a new look vehicon too?

 

Could become the new kid character for this trilogy
