Can't say I'm real happy with the ending. Seems like the teased for too long about the stick maybe being something cool like a part of the spear of destiny or a shard of the true cross. Being part of even a legendary staff just felt like a let down from the things it could have been. A death or two would have been shocking but gee go overboard with it. A tease about the next generation was pretty cool though so at the very very end it was a cool way to close it all out. I thought everything going back to the cabin was also a nice kind of Evil Dead nod so props for that as well.
The guy playing nick is cast in the pilot for a series written by Andy Weir (the Martian) called Mission Control.
Started rewatching the series. Almost done season 1. I'm wondering how much of the overall story was planned from the start. Juliet doesn't get much screen time in the first dozen episodes, compared to Adalind. Theres also a interesting conversation with Adalind and Renard, about why she can't go after Nick directly, and has to target Hank first. Renard says that she'd fall in love with Nick.
It wasn't exactly the ending I would have loved, but guess it worked... it has to. Yeah, everybody is dead.... and they couldn't leave them or us like that... but ... agree that 1 or 2 should've died... except we had the dead helping fight anyway. lol The only loose end I was kinda wondering about... Rosalie's babies. It would have been great to see 'them' working with Kelly and Diana.
