This thread is for all the future images I make. View attachment 27642283 This is a redesign of a transforming bulldozer robot from "Let's Draw Manga: Transforming Robots" by Yasuhiro Nitta (the image is not on the internet). The design is very different from the original, the only things that are the same are the use of treads in the legs and the concept of a samurai bulldozer robot. This design was redone multiple times, and this is the latest (version 3.5) in a pose. Unfortunately, the pose is rather awkward. View attachment 27642285 These pictures are based on Bayonet (Britt - Transformers Wiki) from Transformers: Infestation. The images were colored in Microsoft Paint. The one on the right is slightly different in design but also posed awkwardly. View attachment 27642286 This is an image of an M-66 unit from the anime "Black Magic M-66" made to look a little bit cuter. This one is shot in the forest and then the robot eventually self destructs.
Thanks. It borrows a lot from Stonecrusher's style and anything I couldn't come up was borrowed from the design of the M-66 from the "Black Magic M-66" Original Video Animation (OVA) Thanks. Both of the transformers designs went through a few different versions. Unfortunately Bayonet doesn't really look like she can transform into a helicopter as much as she used to. EDIT: One thing I did extensively on the Bayonet and M-66 images was the use of recessed areas, which is said to show confidence in the design. Personally, the outlines of Bayonet look better in thumbnail form than close up which is actually the opposite for most of my drawings.
Whoops I accidentally deleted all the other pictures in this thread, that sucks. Does anyone know if they gone forever now or are they saved somewhere on my account?
When Siege Spinister was revealed I was surprised that he had an extra cockpit; but I thought to myself: "Why just one extra cockpit, why not three?" and that is the basis of this image. Original Image was posted on Transformers Universe (Transformers Universe - Siege Spinister) It is a photo edit using GIMP and Fusion 360. I started by making a reproduction of Siege Spinister's leg in Autodesk Fusion 360 and used sections of the photo as a texture for it: The model is jointed, which allows it to pose in the two poses that match the arms of the original photo. I took screenshots of the Fusion 360 render of the arm in both positions and imported these into GIMP to splice them into the original. Using a 3D model of the leg allows me to add more cockpits to this image if I wish, but it also allows me to line up the leg so that I can also replace the original arms in helicopter mode (I might do that later).
I have a collection of pieces based on Angie Dunn's Transformers Roll Out character designs. ex: Angie D ️⚧️ on X: "Hasbro just hear me out https://t.co/MbhmpIL3LO" / X (twitter.com) It was a poster and some stills for a fake Transformers cartoon that was a parody of the controversy around Thundercats Roar redesigns. I liked the mix of cartoony and constructed forms so I decided to draw some of the character designs as I learned digital painting. The Latest was around a year ago I think. In order of creation: Megatron (pen drawing + Autodesk Sketchbook) Optimus Prime (pen + Autodesk Sketchbook) Dropkick (pen + Autodesk Sketchbook) Skullgrin (Photoshop) Arcee (Pen + Autodesk Sketchbook) Bumblebee (Photoshop I think? or GIMP I don't remember)
More TF Rollout pieces. Arcee fullbody. This one is unfinished from a while ago but I like the composition. Autodesk sketchbook Shatter. Pencil + Autodesk sketchbook Not TF Rollout related but OC Autodesk Sketchbook
