    Its interesting that they're plugging this as a based on true events movie rather than based off the novel by C.S. Forester. Looks good though.

    Lot’s of people know next to nothing of WW2 in America now. Let alone the Naval battles. Probably a good idea to remind them that these events actually happened. Even if this is embellished.

    I'm in this as a sailor extra. It was a lot of fun filming on one of the last destroyer class ships (USS Kidd). Learn how to operate all the weapons and fucked up my knee in the process.
