Okay, so because of the SDCC 2012 Fall of Cybertron Panel, we know that Peter Cullen, Nolan North and Gregg Berger were all in Prime as well. Two of these roles have been revealed (or were already known). Does this mean that the

Dinobots

actually made the cut in S3?

It'd make sense, since the Prime team did say the Dinobots were part of their plan, and since it's now obvious that the character budget was spent on the Insecticons, Shockwave, and Smokescreen, odds are the leftover budget was spent on perfecting quadrupedal characters. So, since the majority of this group is quadropedal, it makes sense that they'd be S3 to fight against Predaking.

 

I think he'll voice Predaking.

When the writers have been asked about the Dinobots appearing, they've said as of recent "not necessarily, read the comic to understand".

Plus of they're gonna be adding all these Predacons to the show, I highly doubt there'll be enough money for 4 Dinobots as well

 

I'm betting that only Grimlock at least will be on it. That'll be enough for me.

 

Predaking. No Doubt.

 

So far, I'm betting that only the three in CV and the main line (Twinstrike, Laserback, and the big P himself) are in.

Here's hoping that they manage to include more than three new character models next season!

 

Yeah, my guess is Predaking too. His FOC Grimlock voice sounds like it could fit.

But I'd totally be okay with Grimlock appearing. Or heck, anyone as long as it means a new character.

The fact the Dinobots may not actually be in Prime should not really be that big a surprise, unless they all got killed offscreen. The show's track record with the writers unwillingly adding in new characters to the Autobots that aren't dead already is pretty indicative that they don't want a potential game changer like Grimlock to screw up whatever they're doing with the show.

 

The head writer said we'll have new characters next season and there's been hints of Jazz and Perceptor coming in not to mention having at least Grimlock be a part of the cast so it's highyl likely we'll see them and hopefully Ultra Magnus.

 

My theory that the Dinobots are rebuilt into Predacons remains.

Berger will voice Predaking.

 

I would love to see Berger in this show, and I certainly would like to see if he does indeed voice the brutal Predaking  

 

The Jazz and Perceptor thing was not said by anyone that's a part of the show in any way. A random fan at NYCC asked them if Jazz and Perceptor would show up, that's it.

 

I have a theory that Shockwave rebuilt Grimlock into Predaking.

Hence why Gregg Berger is Predaking.

 

He was a Dinosaur, but now he is a Dragon.

I don't think he'll be voicing any other character save for the one he's known for doing, Grimlock.

The folks behind the show said the Dinobots wouldn't be happening in season two, but noted that if they were going to happen, season 3 or beyond would be where it happens.

With Megatron bring Dragons into the series, I think the Dinobots have a really good shot now.
