So I'm working on a custom Powerglide (here: http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/radicons-customs/235591-powerglide-10-scratchbuild-kitbash.html) and read through the great tutorial about Aves Fixit and Apoxie.

My question is, I have worked with green stuff in the past and enjoyed sculpting with it, but it tends to be pricey.

For the cost, is AVES stuff better? I'll probably buy a bit regardless, I'm just looking for opinions.

Also, if using thicker amounts (say a one inch cube) is there any problem with shrinking/cracking? Grandted, this is probably an e-mail for their customer service, but I thought I'd check the Radicons first. You guys seem like the kind of hardcore no-holds-barred kind of people that would actually put their stuff to the test.
