Green Lantern Movie Question?

    I wonder this and cant find an explanation. When Green Lantern was Fighting Paralax at the end of the film he was extremely large almost Planet size. Where were all the other Heroes? Superman, Flash, Wonder Woman..etc.. I know its a Green Lantern Film but when the world is in danger like that all the Heroes would join in to stop the threat. How could they explain them out?

    They were scared? And since Paralax feeds on fear, they would have been killed. So they all were hiding like scared cats.

    They have not been rebooted yet into this continuity so none of them exist =)
