had a little doubt about buying the GL Lantern Replica(pre-order long ago), but that has completely gone now

sidenote: i love how when it's Hal's first time reciting the GL Oath his eyes slowly change to green as he says it

Well they got me sold with the new trailer. If they can work out those bugs with the Reynolds suit they could have a movie with such big Special effects and detail that it could rival Tron and Avatar in terms of world building and structure.

I also love how different the tone is when Sinestro addresses the Corps in the barren area and Tomar shows Hal the light side of the planet. Very good use of scenery for juxtaposition.

Yeah, still not a fan of the suit. Just seems like more work than necessary.

I'm so downloading that in HD and going frame by frame in the shots of the Corps though.

the footage has made the movie seem more promising. I think I'm still looking more forward to marvel's summer trio though. But now I think I may give this movie a chance.

I think they realized their error when they tried to first market it as a comedy. This looks a lot better and you can see the suits and CG has come a long way. Looks worth seeing for the visuals, hopefully it will do well and we will get more DC characters in movies.

    MUCH more compelling.
The suit Hal was wearing looked more sharp, not as pukey as the first shots we saw weeks ago.

This footage has made Green Lantern leap up many spots on my "to watch" list. Truly amazing and spine-chilling.

Hal's suit still looks stupid when you see it close up when he's standing still, something about the neck area bugs me to no end. Other than that, looks totally ace.

I am loving Mark Strong as Sinestro, and Rush as Tomar-Re really works for me too.
Also, I can see the CGI is still in progress, and I have high hopes for it. One of my original problems with Hals costume has been sorted, as his mask now has more 'shape' to it, rather than being a box across his face.

Strong's doing a great job as Sinestro, and I'm quite liking Stel's design (hope he gets a Movie Masters, I'd actually pick it up). I have some more hope for this movie, but I think it will sadly be my least favorite of the big 3 superhero movies this summer.

Looks much better. Still doesn't come anywhere near my interest in Thor, but still, it went up to a "may see" to "will see".

I like the WonderCon trailer because they've taken out the silly/comedic moments which were the low points of the first trailer and made the movie more serious and story-driven. Despite that I still don't see myself seeing it at the theater and I think the 3 Marvel movies will trump it at the box office.

Really hoping we'll hear some news about Deadpool movie soon.

Vast improvements over the original trailer. I still think the suits need to glow less, and be a darker colour of green and be solid black but otherwise, my interest in the movie is restored.

I still think he needs to put a bit more 'oomph' into saying the Lantern Oath, especially since the second time he does it sounds like he's supposed to mean it.

Also, Mark Strong as Sinestro and Geoffrey Rush as Tomar Re, are fucking INSPIRED choices and they are AWESOME.

I know some people really don't like the humour, but this made me laugh.

    "I, Hal Jordan...Do solemnly swear...to...pledge allegiance...to a lantern. That I got from a dying purple alien..."

I'm sorry, but I :lol . That was pretty good. Although I have a feeling that's only gonna be funny to us geeks that know the oath by heart. But that might not be a problem, if they keep using the oath in the commercials like they have been.
