The blue does kinda jump out, especially given the rest of the scheme. But man, that black looks lethal.

you know at firt I wasn't really all that interested in incinerator. the colors were bland, and it dident promote the robot mode very well. but seeing this black repaint I actually am probably going to pick this guy up. he just has that badass look to him now.

 

I get my japanese Incinerator and Landmine. I also took some pictures. Enjoy!!! But actually to the robot mode, i prefer hasbro version.

Thank you for that! I was wondering how different Landmine was going to end up being. That's... well, you can see the difference between the two, but there seems to be very little point to it.

The "Allspark Included" sticker's in English? I would have thought that, even if they reuse the Hasbro boxes, such a sticker denoting the exclusive feature might be in Japanese. If I didn't know better, I'd be wondering if we'll get some Allspark-inclusive figures in the US... but that's too much wishful thinking.

 

I think I actually like the grey version a little better, too. This one still looks nice, I think I just like the color variation more in the grey one... and the fact that it looks more military.

However, I sure hope the grey one has that white, light-piped visor, 'cause that looks GREAT!

I think the blue brings out the black. Makes it look deeper and more terrifying.

 

I like the Black, it makes me wish they made and Autobot and Decepticon version of these ala Blackout/Evac.

I'm really loving the motorized propelors, that is the biggest sell for me!

I'm getting him either way, but for pure aesthetics, black FTW. I do admit that the regular version does lend a more military presence to it though.

 

I think the Hasbro one looks better in vehicle mode, but the Takara-Tomy one looks better in bot mode.

I need a release that combines the two ... ... I'm gonna have to buy both, right? Sigh.

The purple and the 'allspark blue' imo look weird together but this is the first use of the allspark blue that I think makes a figure better rather than worse and just being out of place.

So this mold will be one of the very last movie releases as far as we know now right?

 

wow, Takara Incinerator and Landmine are looking really nice.

still hate that on a mold as great as incinerator the didn't give him a "real hands" option or do anything with how he's got like 1/2 his alt mode untransformed on his back (if they can get the rotors to spin with his arms transformed, seems like his backpack could have folded in half or something)

he looks more Classics/Cybertron than movie aesthetic to me as well. (aside from not having real hands) his head and upper arms are especially not very movie-esque at all (where as Landmine looks like he was just offscreen.)
