FINALLY done with my set of DragonRider combiners and their final form, Grand Paladin. Here's the skinny on the whole team! The Team: WarForge: Autobot Historian ️ "Can we please play D&D now?" WarForge is a dabbler. Part Historian, part Mythographist and all Folklore lover, especially those of Earth. After he accidentally stumbled into a strip mall gaming shop during a firefight he instantly became a Dungeons & Dragons Enthusiast and found his calling. D&D Class: Sorcadin (Paladin/(Draconic)Sorcerer) Vanguard: Autobot Theologian ️ Vanguard used to delve into the mysteries of the Primes and Cybertron, but became fascinated with the varying theologies covering the short history of Earth. Her favorite is that or Norse mythology and Valhalla, even dubbing her minicon Mjolnir. D&D Class: Cleric Steeple: Autobot Conspiracy Theorist ️ Steeple is a bit of a conspiracy fanatic and lover of all things cloak and dagger. Weapon preference is a bow for long range attacks safe from conflict, but has an Assassin's Creed style hidden blade for when things get to close for comfort. D&D Class: Rouge/Ranger Truss: Weapon Expert ️ Truss is support and heavy weapons...all weapons. He's a gun nut and it shows, knowing how to take them apart and put them together. He's more than capable at fixing an ion blaster, but has a special appreciation for classic Earth weaponry and blacksmithing. D&D Class: Gunslinger(Fighter) Blunderbuss: "The Muscle" ️ One definition of "Blunderbuss" is: an action or way of doing something regarded as lacking in subtlety and precision. Which sums him up pretty good. Turning into a lumbering dragon doesn't exactly scream, "quiet" and "subtlety". Joining the ranks of the Autobot D&D Enthusiasts like WarForge, Vanguard, Steeple and Truss, Blunderbuss rounds out the team as the muscle and brute force, plus he can reach things on high shelves. While not as refined in his history or mythology knowledge, he does lead the team to victory during trivia nights due to his extensive Earth pop culture knowledge. D&D Class: Barbarian Mjolnir: Tinkerer ️ Mjolnir has taken many alt forms and names over the years, never happy to just sit idle. A Tinkerer by nature, he loves to build and upgrade, sometimes with actual permission! Currently he's partnered up with Vanguard taking on the name and alt mode of Thor's mighty hammer. D&D Class: Artificer *Grand Paladin: Combined Gestalt ️ When the DragonRiders get together for more than a game of D&D they form Grand Paladin. As much as WarForge leads the team, Blunderbuss is still the heart of the big guy and thought it'd be a fun homage to rock a color scheme similar to a certain group of 80's cats when they all combine. D&D Class: Paladin Designations: ️ WarForge - Red DragonRider Vanguard - Blue DragonRider Truss - Yellow DragonRider Steeple - Green DragonRider Blunderbuss - Black Dragon Build Breakdown: Base Figure: POTP Wreck-Gar/Hun-Gurrr Weapons: Grimlock's Forge Heads: Shapeways Paint: Krylon/Rust-Oleum/Paint Markers ...I may have over thought this one...
Havent played d and d in years but isn’t there a rule that says paladins don’t use edged weapons or something? cool custom
Wait..., I know this an amazing piece of work that competes with masterpiece level but you also used 4 Sinner-twin heads too right?
So you used 4 for this one, 4 for the Junkion combiner and 4 for the SG Junkion combiner. Or did you use 2 more for the whole Junkion bunch?
My wife did a few new photos of my DragonRiders for my TFCon panel so I figured I'd throw them in here!
