At the bottom of his rules, he has this:

"PLEASE DO NOT BID, IF YOU DON'T INTEND TO PAY!!!"

...I think he meant this:

"PLEASE DO NOT BID, I DON'T INTEND TO SEND!!! "

He say's payment must be received within 5 days of auction end,

The fifth day was yesterday...

well there you go. address and all. raise holy hell, Tom. that sucks big time.

 

I sent them a message through eBay why they are relisting, and they said that it's because they didn't receive payment within the timeframe...

If that's the case, you should definately as least get your money back.

 

To all who care:

I have talk with TOM on the phone already. He's payment is SAFE and he will GET his money back.

This is what happen.
1)Because this is a expensive item. I make special rules which I don't usually use.
( No zero feedback bidder, payment within 5 days......etc )
2)For the auction. We relisted the item because we DID NOT receive our payment within our PAYMENT TIMEFRAME. Auction ended on Dec01 and we waited till Dec07 before relist it. That's more then 5 days.
3)Not long after we relisted the Grand Maximus back on ebay. TOM send us the payment.
4)We have contact ebay. The reply is that...As long as we have CLEARLY stat our payment timeframe on our item description. We have the right to relist the auction. And refund the payment, if payment receive after the timeframe.

Here's the main points!!!

But because TOM is the orginal winner. We will find ways to work thing out.

Until we find ways to work thing out. The Grand Maximus is still available and up on auction.

So Tom was supposed to pay Refund without knowing how much it would cost.

That's a bit shady. I'd say the best thing to do is to remove the new auction and honor the original deal, since everybody knows everybody that's involved now. No reason not to.

It would be the right thing to do (if TOM still wants it, that is). It probably won't go as high the second time around now that the word is out that you're not to be trusted, Refund, whether that word be deserved or not.

Do the right thing and make everybody happy.
