Can't wait until the dealers down here start getting the Camaro in their inventory.

My Camaro color of choice: Inferno Orange Metallic no stripes

actually, the ranking of the Camaros depends a lot on what/when you're talking about. the original Z28 was a road racer, high revving 302 with 4-disc brakes and better handling. it was built to run SCCA. the SS was really just a big motor, 396 being the biggest. while the SS made more power the Z28 could run circles around it on the track. the SS truly became top dog in '96 when they brought it back (stopped making the SS in '72), because the 4th gen SS had 30 more hp and the better suspension.

Yeah, I guess I do. The thing is, you really can't even see the engine because the the giant engine cover.

the cover is probably removable. i'm not a big fan of the new trend of putting giant plastic engine covers on everything. some smaller ones to accent sure, but some are ridiculous, don't make things look better, and could probably be removed and used for a sled (well, if you get snow)

Thanks for the Camaro lesson. I'm used to the 90s Camaros (my cousin had a 94 Z28). The older Camaros....hell, it was just "older Camaro" for me, nuff said. My friend has a 69 (his dad's hand me down) and to this day, it's the fastest car I've riden in. If I end up with a Camaro, you know I'll be reading up on it's history.
