I hope I can actually find one on the lot when my lease is up in December. According to my local dealer, everyone that comes in until October is already sold. No telling when they will actually have quantity at the dealership. Chevy finally makes a car worth owning and I can't even get one. Bollocks.
I either want Bumblebee or imperial blue. I was hoping for the emerald green they used to have on the older version but apparently no dice. I was also thinking Black with flat black stripes.
Movie 1 Bumblebee has the same front, so I'd say he would still be accurate in some way. But then again, I also heared the Bumblebee edition they are offering has a different color yellow, and the racing stripes are also different (probably not the thick stripe with the tiny yellow/black outline, but rather just 2 thick stripes)...OUCH.
Nice Car! Chevy went and reworked the v6/z28/ss lineup. Before the SS was top dog. When and if Chevy releases a Z28 model, that car's going to be the top dog. So basically, the SS and Z28 traded places. With this said, I'm thinking the Z28 is for the select few with deep pockets (not me). I still have my 95 mustang and since that car is almost 15 years old, I want a new car. And for me, it's Mustang vs. Camaro. The only thing I do not like about the Camaro is the interior (and if your driving the car, you know you'll be looking at the interior more than the exterior). I'll wait a year and see if the 11' Mustang bumps up it's power output. If not, I can live with the Camaro's interior. Then instead of Mustang vs Camaro, it's going to be Camaro v6 vs Camaro V8 and wondering how the hell I'll get my car audio in there. Again, Very Nice Car!
man i am so jelous, that car is sweet! i want one, i currently drive a cadillac STS and its a sweet ride, but man i really dig that new camero. very nice ride, now go throw some chrome 22's on that bad boy.
Depends on the stripes. You can have stripes added by dealers that match the Bumblebee look. I saw one saturday at the Chevy dealer on the South Side.
I want to see some pics of you kicking out that rear end! sorry hopeless drift nut and I wonder if the stock suspension and rear end handles a good bum flick round a corner.
Thanks! The interior is better in person, IMO. Plus there upgrades to the interior that improve its look. Some aftermarket too. Many more coming.
The stripes that are sold by GM and installed by the dealer don't extend beyond the hood. Bumblebee's stripes continue past the hood onto the front bumper piece. They sell these aftermarket. That may be what you saw. Or you could always get them painted on.
Congrats man, looks beautiful in black, good choice. Bumblebee colors will get old anyway, already been used too much. Moving on...
Good call, 20's are plenty big enough! Not a bad ride (not that I've driven one yet). I might get an RS in the future if I get a good settlement for my injury. I need something for a daily driver so I'm not taking my Challenger to places with old lady's who don't watch what they're doing and put a big scratch and dent in the quarter panel. It's a good color, but I think I'd go Silver with the Camaro. Of course I have to test drive one first since I hear they're pretty cramped inside and I need my space. Now make sure you're careful where and how you park.
