GAIMAN & PRATCHETT's GOOD OMENS Gets 2018 TV Series
Amazon Taps David Tennant, Michael Sheen For Gaiman's 'Good Omens'
First Look At David Tennant & Michael Sheen From Good Omens
David Tennant (Dr Who 10) looks very similar to Peter Davison (Dr Who 5).
I know Michael Sheen best from the Underworld films, but he looks neat here.
Good Omens Casts Nick Offerman As Father of the Would-Be Antichrist
There is also talk about them finally making the City Watch miniseries. I have waited ages for something to happen with that...
Nick Offerman casted
"Nick Offerman’s character in Gaiman and Terry Pratchett’s novel is an American diplomat stationed in England, who believes he is raising the Antichrist, destined to bring about the apocalypse. However, due to a mix-up at the hospital, his child, Warlock, is simply a normal, not-evil child."
I'll watch Tennant in anything so bring it on.
I hope the kids they cast are as good as the stranger things cast as they could make or break this. Also the soundtrack to the trailer was clearly left in a glovebox for too long....
And Cumberbatch will be Satan.
...Satan never shows up in the book, though.
And, I know Michael Sheen best as that guy who made The Twilight Saga worth existing.
This reminds me of Terry Gilliam's Monty Python animation!Nice!
I liked the book but I remember the kids being more main characters than the angel and demon. Hope the series will focus on those two instead.
I don't think we've seen the Them at all yet - hope the child actors nail it.
Good Omens: Neil Gaiman Announces Death Actor
Brian Cox, nice choice.
Just came here to post it myself, you beat me to it.
For the life of me, I dunno why, but I always kept thinking a movie adaptation of this already exists... but nope. Maybe because I "read" this as an audiobook? For some reason I remember parts of the story as if seeing it. Weird.
Looks like it dropped a day early. Up now
Well that was good, sadly only 6 episodes though.
