    Do not want.

Love the series, but the DTV movies were mostly balls and I don't want it beaten into horse mush like The Simpsons.

I think the movies improved with the last two, and were really hurt overall by the longer format. It's only a 13 episode order, so if it's good, great, if it's not, then just ignore it.

What does it matter? Even if it is brought back, people will complain that it's not as funny as it used to be.

    :bay  if true

Last time we got our hopes up and nothing happened:

Still with the four movies complete the odds are quite good that these 13 will be the real deal. Love the series and while overall I enjoyed the movies, having the show return as a season with 13 half hour episodes again would be the best!

Let them complain. A bunch of people bitching isn't going to make me love it any less.

Precisely. If this is true, I label this the best news of the year.

    *crosses fingers*

Negative. BBS was the best one.

    Agreed here, though.

    This is great news.

One of my projects this summer was going to be to compile all of the phyics references and burn them onto one DVD so I can bring them up any time during class.

I could see this going either way. The original series was excellent and, if this new series can rise to that level again, it's going to be amazing. On the other hand, I hated the movie series (barely made it through BBS, didn't bother with the others), so if that's indicative of what the writing would be like in new episodes, it might not be a very good return.
