Hi! I am looking for a Galvatron and Cyclonus for a Chug collection. Do any 2 go together nicely?

 

Titans Return Galvatron and Combiner Wars Cyclonus look quite nice together.

 

Mmc cyclonus and mania king.

 

I agree, I have both and I'm satisfied.

 

I just bought the TR Galvatron, and I love it. I had my misgivings about the face-mask thingy, but it looks much better than most online reviews would have you believe. I never got the CW Cyclonus, but I hope to soon. I'd imagine they'd display great together...

 

TR Galvatron and RTS Cyclonus: no substitutes.

 

I got the Shapeways helmet. It really does fit nicely.
Like Megatron though, I did feel compelled to paint the bland face silver.

 

For CHUG scale have a serious look at Unique toys Mania King before you do anything else. (there are two color variations) If yoy can swing him he's probably the best Galvatron at that size.

Cyclonus, I don't know- i like my old Chug as much as anything, but I'm not sure there is a clear leader here.

The MMC suggestion was interesting, excpet he's IDW style, not out yet and I'm unsure of the exact size also (possibly too big for CHUG???). But he does look like he'll have one of the best bot modes a Cyclonus toy has had.

Okay, so ill get Mania King and either Rts or CaC Cyclonus.

 

This. These two looks the best together, I have always envisioned that Galvatron was the taller of the two, and RTS Cyclonus is a great figure, in spite of being a bit lacking in arm articulation.

 

Titans Return Galvatron and Henkei Cyclonus. Although the RTS / Challenge at Cybertron versions are nice.

 

As far as going together, I'd say that Combiner Wars Cyclonus and Combiner Wars Galvatronus are basically inseparable...

 

RTS + Mania King or RTS + TR/Legends.

 

That is probably true. I just don't like either of them very much. Cyclonus is a retool that basically wears his alt mode on his back with a robo brick hanging off the bottom of the jet. He does have some good details to be sure, but it feels like I'm losing more than I'm gaining to me. Galvatron looked promising for a while, but that head is such a mess (as well as the typical paint ap issues that Mania King doesn't have).

But they have their pluses and not everyone can or wants to spring for 3P offerings. Some people are even still just loyal to Hasbro (somehow- and I do respect that).

 

Titans Return Voyager Galvatron & Combiner Wars Voyager Cyclonus... But you might want to go Reprolabels to get a better helmet for Galvatron

 

TR Galvatron and CW Cyclonus for me. CW's jet mode is leagues better IMO, and I prefer a tall Cyclonus. Just wish we'd get a Voyager Scourge...

 

TR Galvatron and CW Cyclonus is my set up.

...even if Cyclonus finds himself in Galvatronus mode more often. 

 

A flat jet-shapped sheet (CW) is better than a fully-realized jet (RTS)?
