Glanced at the source today and thought it was legitimate. Now actually clicking on the link I see it's not the site I thought it was. (of course I might have looked harder if this hadn't been front paged) :rolleyes2

All the stuff up until the movies is kind of fun. The making of stuff, the trailers, all the lies they like to tell us of how this time they listened and will make old fans happy instead of leaving them out in the cold yet again. All the speculation on characters that seem to be a big part of the movie before we find out they only have like 2 minutes in a film dragging to over two hours.

I guess I could hope maybe this time will be the Batman and Robin of Transformers films so we could get a darn reboot at last. But it's Paramount, they don't care as long as they can sell a film in China instead.

Really hope the animated film has more color than the flashback in the first movie. Silver spiky robots with a silver spiky background just doesn't seem visually appealing.

Not to mention how movie 3 killed off all the major villains and left us with generic drones for AoE. The only cool villain was Stinger, shame his toy didn't get a Western release.

Even if the movies are going to continue being crap, could we at least get some better figures than the AOE ones. How about some new Human Alliance figures? Or something new on par with the RoTF Optimus mold?

Even though I know it'll end up in the trash, writing that heartfelt letter to Paramount and Bay made me feel a little better. I'm just not the type to not voice my thoughts about something I care about.

I'll stick to the various cartoons (and certain comic universe) until the movies are finally rebooted (and I have no doubt they will be eventually).

    Bay and Goldsman together?

This could either be amazingly good or amazingly horrible.

    Lol.

Either way it's gonna be amazing. :D

If this is true however. If Lindsey says no, then... Who knows.

    That's fucking awesome!

An animated movie would work a whole lot better than a fully CGI film based from the films. It would be less expensive and allow more room for possibilities. Definitely excited!

Bay again. ...let me guess, TF5 will have over 150 mins of nonstop explosions, low quality dialogs, tons of clichees and puberty jokes, almost zero characterization of the transformers.
I already skipped TF4 at the cinemas and didn't purchase the DVD.
