On the subject of names, I'm surprised Tigertrack hasn't popped up, I figured it was the second most obvious one after Stripes.

Of course my OCD is a little insistent on calling him Megiger in the interest of balance.

Hmmm. I just don't know with this one. I REALLY like the tiger beast mode. Not a fan of the bot mode with that head. It works okay on Shadow Panther. Here, not so much. Not sure if I'm going to bite on this.

 

Man, I'm so on the fence with this one. On one hand I love the beast mode and that he's a reference to the original prototype, but on the other hand that robot mode with the mutant head looks so jarring. Decided to put down a preorder though, because as undecided as I am on that robot mode, I think he'll pair very well with the Blackarachnia from Bumblebee World's Collide pack. I'd originally passed on the Grimlock and Skywarp figures, but I'm honestly reconsidering ordering them now, just to have a group of alternate Beast Wars toys.

 

My thoughts:

I was really against the Mutant head, but they pulled it off nicely. I would have appreciated more green, but this is not a BW Grimlock situation. It looks great.



I was never a fan of Tigertron's head sculpt, I was hoping for the toy robot face, but this is very excellent. I think the reason for less green is that Tigertron did not have paint in those areas.

 

Damn, I was kind of hoping we would be in for Slicer

Was the standard Tigatron even released yet? Did I miss it?

I will assume Terrorsaur is that \"other survivor\" who wasn\'t killed by the quantum surge.

 

I hope we can get this one day, with this robotic cat head....

 

i like the new headsculpt more than shadow panther's. gives off a mystical vibe. maybe tigatron found majora's mask.

 

They'll want to get some mileage out of that Ravage mold. He's how.

I will call him Tygor and I will take him home and love him then put him on my shelf.

 

I assume it would be the same as Ravage, just like the Botcon version.
