Got an email saying these guys are coming soon. The said they'd be processing on the 16th, thank goodness I should be getting paid on the 17th lol.

So technically, I did put the money down for my Pipes before Puffer, but I'm holding out on shipping my current BBTS stuff until after Christmas, so I'll still be getting Puffer in hand first. Shouldn't feel wrong but for some reason it does.

I just got a notice from Amazon that my copy of Puffer/Road Ranger will arrive on Tuesday Dec. 14th. Hopefully Jackpot will arrive soon after, if not the same day. (fingers crossed)

Opened my bots up last night.

They're very cool, but I just find it weird that they didn't put the cab rotation for bot mode in both versions of the mold.

A few less parts and assembly time for the Huffer version. Hasbro probably saves $0.10 per Huffer compared to Pipes. Over 10k figures thats $1k in savings. Just an "easy math" example, but the real numbers are not insignificant

Amazon shipped my set last night, it'll be here today. All these preorders hit at once is exhausting, especially to my wallet. I was actually debating cancelling this order as I only wanted Puffer, my Autobot ranks are already packed to the gills. Whoops!

Yep, mine just went from "arriving the 23rd" to "It'll be here TOMORROW and we billed you for them and jackpot...you're welcome"

and my BBTS POL arrives which has Pipes...gonna be hard to explain to the wife that yes, i just got 3 colors of the same toy...when they are spread out she tends not to notice.

Mine should be here on Tuesday! I’m very excited, Huffer was surprisingly an absolutely perfect figure. He’s one of the best Transformers toys I’ve ever had. Seriously while I took a couple year break I’ve had Transformers for my entire life and very few’ve come close to Huffer. The only ones I can think of that’ve brought me such unexpected joy are Cybertron Ransack GTS and TF2010 Jetblade. Once these guys come in all I’ll need is Pipes for my quartet to be complete!

He really is a perfect figure! I had only gotten Huffer in anticipation of Pipes, but he's a whole lot of fun; just a nice, simple figure, with a simple transformation. I'm stoked to get Puffer, & hopefully soon, Pipes!

Yeah, I’ve always appreciated the goofy side of transformers so I’ve loved Huffer being this lousy, whiny little guy who’s entire truck front is just strapped to his back who turns into a adorable mini truck. That being said I never truly enjoyed him more than “heh, fun little fella” til this figure, it completely blew me away!

I admit to sentimental value as G1 Huffer was my first TF figure ever, so I was jazzed for the Kingdom version.

I really like these guys heads more than the original versions - I wonder if Hasbro ever decide to re-release Huffer and Pipes they can use these heads instead - they are much nicer "toy faces" - but they just look "cooler" than the existing ones to me.

I think they just chose to do it to make the figures just a bit more different

Well technically Pipes should be out Jan 1 and Puffer March 1. I think COVID and distribution issues have messed up so it’s in reverse.

So, does anyone know why Hasbro consistently fails to depict Pipes (and Puffer) with its hood properly up against the back of the robot's head? The mold's perfectly capable of it.

That was my first thought until I got Puffer in hand.

Cartoon accuracy just looks horrible with that backpack in that orientation in person (IMO), so maybe Hasbro thought the same thing, and figured fans that wanted it in that position, would just put it there.

    Hard disagree.

That is to say, I'm by no means a cartoon-accuracy fanatic (give me toy-accuracy any day of the week, any week of any year), but Pipes really does look best with the hood up against the back of his head.

That's why I put the IMO in there. ;)

I'm not trying to say the way I like it is better, just that maybe that's a reason why pics of him don't have the cab all the way up.
