Going for a Leaderclass Blackout, any tips on base model?

My next custom will be a leaderclass Blackout.
I did some research on this idea and found a lot of usefull examples.
    But...

The problem lies in the avaiability of the donor models. I saw that a populair approach was with Longhaul/payload, but they are not for sale anymore. I cant find that model anywhere.

There is also a custom build from a Ironhide. But I cant figure out if it is a leaderclass ironhide or a voyagerclass.

The helicopter I have, a 1/48 scale model from a Ch 53, I know its not blackout but close enough for me.

Do you guys have any good advice for the base model?
I dont like alternatives like lego or anything no transformers related.

could not find a payload/longhaul voyager class so today I`ll hunt for leaderclass bumblebee to breakdown and use as base mesh.
Did some testing with othertoys but I`m not sure about the joint rotation possibilities.
