First of all, a big thanks to fellow board member Stormvapor, whose Traitor custom inspired this one. It took me a while to find the time to dig through some parts and actually get to work on this, but as soon as I saw that Traitor, I knew I had to have a Re-volt.

The falcon part is made from what was part of an ill-fated Predacon project, and started out as the Armada repaint of Transmetal Airrazor. The block, which I think is supposedly a launch pad or something, was a movie brawl.

Ran out of black paint while painting, and had actually forgotten until taking a few pictures. He still needs black eyes in falcon mode when I pick up some more paint.

    Comments and critiques welcome.

    OH man that just rocks!
I mean that really works bro. The dread-launchers were a cool, but strange addition to the GoBots line... While transformers were getting less posable, the GoBots were getting a whole lot more. You really did a sweet job on this one. What did you use as your connector? Also, what are the wings from?

    Thanks.

And yeah, I agree. I really hate that the line couldn't have gone on longer. There's no telling what the toys may have been like today if they had been able to continue competing for years.

They actually just connect with friction, via a shaved-down Bionicle connector shoved up into the chest cavity. I was going to actually connect them using the ball joint, but friction held it surprisingly well, so figured there was no reason to overcomplicate things. The wings are from a large Bakugan dragon. I've no idea what it's called. I happened upon it at a Goodwill or something.

Part of me wants to. I really enjoyed doing this one. A Duocon-style custom was something new, and it's made me want to try some more Gobots just to have. A bigger part of me hates trying to paint anything white though. White paint and I don't get along. If I ever either find some white paint with better coverage though, or find the secret of painting white without using fifteen billion coats I'd like to take a stab it at.

^^ That is understandable and would be nice to see if you did give it a go...love me some Gobots customs but I love seeing obscure Gobot customs the most
