GM announces 'Bumblebee' Chevrolet Camaro

    GM announces 'Bumblebee' Chevrolet Camaro - Posted Driving

    GM has announced that it will offer the Chevrolet Camaro outfitted with a limited-edition Transformers Bumblebee package, according to edmunds.com.

    The Bumblebee package will be offered on the Camaro LT and SS models and will offer Transformers Autobot badging on the wheel caps, console lid, steering wheel and seats along with a Rally Yellow paint job with two thick black racing stripes. The yellow used on the Camaro in this summer's Transformers 2: The Revenge of the Fallen looks a bit darker, but the rest of the design is quite faithful.

    Although the Camaro won't form into your own Autobot at the push of a button or come equipped with automatic weaponry or emotions, it still looks pretty amazing even if you aren't a fan, but would be the ultimate display of hard core fan love.

    There's no word yet on whether the Bumblebee Camaro will roll out to Canadian dealerships, but it can be ordered at U.S. dealerships starting in June and ending sometime in December. The first Bumblebee Camaro is reported to roll off the production line on June 24, which happens to be the Canadian release date for the movie. Pricing for the package has not yet been released.

    I kidna do and do not want it. I"m half on this. Cause I'm not a guy that has flashy yellow on my car. Yellow is really extreme actually Police will be able to see me a mile away. lol. As cool as it is, I don't really want to drive it.

    chevy is the best if your american ..i going to go a order one ..its between the camaro or the dodge challenger srt8..but since im a transformers fan i think im going to push towards the chevy i own plenty of chevy muscle and you cant go wrong..imports go back were you come from,,hehe
