    Hi folks,

Remember this? Especially the glowing skeleton kit?

Well, when paleotrex was revealed i felt i had to do this, i used acrylics and a spray can of phosphore, nice thing it actually also gave him a textur similar to bones.

    Thanks y'all

Phosphore? Its phosphorescent particles mixed with coating, i bought a spray can of it, you could probably found those into a crafting store, it works quite well but there must be at least 4 or 5 fine layers for the glowing effect to be the most vibrant and evenly looking

Haha had the skin too, and the other skeleton, i remember the skin being quite badly shaped, or maybe torned over time on the packaging as it never stayed flush on the model

Wait, so you can buy glow-in-the-dark paint in an aerosol can?

And here I am driving a non-glow-in-the-dark car like a sucker.

Awesome work though! I wish Trans-Mutate had this colour!

I'm surprised not a single one of the original beast wars toys back then had glow in the dark effect...it was a popular gimmick

Absolutely. Especially with all the new additions of chrome and robotic detail, glow-in-the-dark would have been amazing for freaks like Tigerhawk or Tripredacus.

    This rules so hard.

I wish we got more glow in the dark TFs, but I have heard anecdotally that within the toy industry that's kind of considered "the bottom of the barrel" and kind of a tacit admission that you're totally out of new ideas.

Well, they could had used it, without making it the main point/gimmick, more like a bonus feature, especially if it wasnt used on all the line but just a few selected figures, i kinda want to try on some to see, wonder how that could look, since the phosphore is pratically transparent unless you put much, it wont even change the base color...but it has to be on a light one, on darker support it wont work as much

After seeing this figure I realize Hasbro never really made a glow in the dark transformer.

Oh, this is awesome! I'm gonna request to see glowing robot mode as well as a pic of the spray can if you would kindly, my good sir.

Do you plan on doing the other ones as well?
