    I don't know how this slipped by me, but Glory of Heracles for the DS is getting an English release. I guess it was announced at E3. Here's Nintendo's official site for it.

    This series has always had a bit of a special place in my heart, considering that I'm responsible for the fan-translation of the second game which came out 10 years ago. Not to toot my own horn, but I have a feeling that my introducing this game to English audiences probably had something to do with this official release, and that's pretty cool. They're even using the English title that I gave the game instead of something more obvious like Hercules.

    Anyone else here fans of these games?

    i haven't played the new one at all, but the original series were dragon quest style rpgs. i think the new one has a bit more of a strategy element to the battles though.
